These. were. terrible. I bought these to celebrate the birthday of my mother-in-law who recently passed away and they were a huge disappointment.The first problem is that the directions are impossible to understand and have been very badly (and comically) translated to English. Next, getting them to open up without tearing them was a huge task. I think we managed to get two of the ten open without ripping them. They're literally one thin sheet of tissue paper. The two we did manage to get open were really hard to get lit. Once we finally got it (what seemed to be a small square of soap), it didn't fill up enough to float away, they just kind of bounced on the ground.They only get one star because I didn't have the option to give them zero.

I have used Chinese lanterns many times, but never used this product or vendor before. Price was low so I figured why not. After trying 5 of these and having two tear under extremely light handling followed by two actually catching on fire, we got one launched, but nowhere near the height or performance I'd seen before. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The product was not good. When opening it, it was ripping because there was so much glue on the metal pet that it got stuck to other parts. The wax thing was not easy to light and when it finally did light it never went into the sky, there wasn’t enough gas in the lantern to move. We almost burned the cemetery grass messing with this hot mess. Luckily it gave is a great laugh, but as for a product, don’t waste your money.

These are absolutely terrible, they seriously are not worth the money , they rip very very easy , which I know the material they are there not made to be to thick. But these where just to thin way to weak , and they don't even fill up with heat and fly away like they say they do. I expected so much more from these , they flew maybe 15 ft and fell down. We are definitely disappointed , I don't recommend buying these at all.

It was kind of hard to light but it was so fun to let it go! Please check your local laws to make sure it is ok to set off a lantern.

These go very high ....

The paper is super thin so the markers create holes extremely easily. To keep the igniter on you need to tie it in place prior to lighting it because it doesn't have two separate flaps to bend in opposite directions that would hold it in place.
