Pelican Marine Waterproof Phone Pouch (Regular) -Black/Hi-Vis Yellow

These worked better than expected. Bought these for a cruise which included snorkelling, jet ski, and swimming. I was a little skeptical putting my thousand dollar plus cell phone in it, so I tested it first by placing tissue inside, sealing it, and then submerging it is 6 feet of pool water. I held it under for several minutes and splashed around to see if it would hold up to active use. When my test was done I was pleased to find that none of the tissue got a drop of water on it. Perfectly dry inside. I was not so concerned with being able to try to use it while in the bag, but it was a nice feature that I could still snap underwater shots and use the phone/texting feature when not in the water as well. I felt the lanyard was pretty secure and confident it would not just snap off. Putting the phone with a protective case on it in the Pelican Pouch was a little challenging if you have a larger device, however if you removed it from the case before putting in the pouch it was no issue and made installation very easy. I was not worried about not being in my regular protective case, because the Pelican Pouch offered just as much protection. Great product if you are going to be using a phone in or around water.

I can't speak to the "waterproofness" yet, but my iPhone 16 Pro Max fits in the Regular Size case nicely. I like the snug fit so that the phone isn't moving around inside the case. It looks and feels high quality. By putting the phone in upside down, I'm able to access the camera functions. There is no image distortion or issue with taking photos through the clear waterproof covering. All touch features work perfectly.

One year later. It still works perfectly. Typing this up in the pool even and diving underwater while listening to music. Phone stays perfectly dry

I used the Pelican waterproof case to go snorkeling in the ocean and to go kayaking - both in the Florida summer heat. In the water, the waterproof pouch worked perfectly. No water leaked into the case and it floated with the phone inside. As other reviewers noted, underwater the touch screen doesn't work. i just programmed my phone camera to take a picture using the up volume button. That wasn't easy as the side of the case is padded and underwater it's hard to tell exactly where that little button is. I put my phone in the waterproof case while kayaking just in case I dropped it while trying to take pictures. It's hard to see the screen in sunlight to take pictures in the sunlight but I managed. I was also worried about quality of teh pictures through the plastic screen of the case, but that wasn't a problem either (see attached photo, taken with the case on). The problem comes with the summer sun shining on the plastic case. It heated up so much that my phone went into emergency mode b/c it overheated. So, while it's a good quality case and didn't leak underwater, the case can heat up quite a bit in sunlight and the touch screen is difficult (in sunlight) to impossible (in water) to use.

These waterproof phone pouches are a great buy, especially as a 4-pack for family trips or group outings. They feel secure, float for extra peace of mind, and the IP68 waterproof design makes them ideal for the beach, kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing, rafting, cruises, and travel. I like that the clear window lets me still use my phone without taking it out, and the detachable lanyard makes it easy to keep close while on the move. The black and hi-vis yellow design is easy to spot, which is a big plus around water. Overall, these are practical, durable, and exactly the kind of accessory I want for protecting phones during outdoor adventures.

This is 100% a high quality phone case. It will stand up to getting dropped from the boat /jet ski for sure. But I got the regular for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It fits in the regular size but you cannot access the full screen. I’m gonna try the XL instead.

Ive used this product over 20 times and it has kept my phone safe every time. I have a large smartphone and it fits well. The clasps seal tightly and have never come undone accidentally. My favorite aspect of this case is that it floats, even without having to leave air inside of the case making it hard to use the screen. I use this on the lake in the summer and it was a great addition to a canoe trip this last summer. Definitely worth spending a little more for this one instead of the cheapo waterproof cases.

Review: We used these Pelican waterproof pouches on a trip and they delivered on the waterproofing -- our phones stayed completely dry, the seal is solid, and the lanyard is a nice touch for keeping them accessible around your neck. For pure water protection, they work exactly as advertised. The problem we ran into: in 75-80 degree temperatures, both of our phones overheated inside the pouches to the point where we couldn't take pictures. The pouch traps heat with no ventilation, and in warm outdoor conditions that adds up fast. It happened consistently enough that it became a real frustration. I'd recommend these specifically for situations where water protection is the priority and you're not planning to use your phone much -- on a boat, at the beach just lounging, or anywhere you're worried about a dunking. If you're counting on actually using your phone for photos throughout the day in warm weather, the overheating is going to get in the way. 完璧でした。 でも、流石に最初は怖くて旅行前に浸水テストをしましたが、中身に入れたティッシュは一切濡れませんでした。 これにスマホやホテルのカードキー、クレジットカード・数枚の紙幣を入れて、プールや海で激しく泳いだり、ビーチで砂にも埋もれましたが、中は全く濡れず安心でした。 ロックもしやすく、取り出しやすいし、デザインもほかの製品と比べてちゃんとしているため、大満足でした。
