Pelican Marine Waterproof Phone Pouch (Regular) - Black/Hi-Vis Yellow

I’ve used this near water or at home while taking a bath, but never tried fully submerging it so I’m unsure if it’s 100% air tight. The waterproof material feels good though and no water has gotten into it so far. Fits a normal iphone size. Facial recognition only works about half the time through the clear plastic, but still responsive and easy to click on stuff or type through it. Like having it just in case

Works great, doesn't leak, it floats and takes clear pictures. BUT.... your phone will get EXTREMELY HOT in very short timeframe. I used this is Kuai so it was warmer water, but after about 15 minutes I took my phone out and it was burning hot and gave me a temperature warning and needed to cool down. I think its just because its sealed up and cant breathe so this is likely something that will happen with any waterproof case like this. I would not advice keeping it in the case for very long, use it, grab photos and videos then take it out and let it cool down right away.

I got this case because I wanted something to protect my Pixel 5a from water and allow me to use the phone while I am on my jet ski. This case works very well for that. I have used it on like 5 or 6 outings at the lake. I have no problems interacting with my phone when it's in the Pelican case. I can press the power and volume buttons. Touches on the screen are detected even with a screen protector on my phone. I do have "Screen protector mode" enabled in my phone settings to increase touch sensitivity, however I also tested with that setting turned off and the touches were still detected through the Pelican case and the screen protector. Additionally, I have had no problems with recording videos using my phone while it is in the Pelican case. This past weekend I was riding my jet ski and had my phone in the Pelican case on the included lanyard around my neck (like I usually do). I was going at least 70 mph when I fell off the jet ski. After falling off, I still had the lanyard on me, but the clip broke and the case was no longer attached to the lanyard. I looked around but I didn't see my phone anywhere near me and feared it had sunk. I went and got a relative's phone and used Google's Find My Device to see the location of my phone, which said it was in the middle of the lake near where I had fallen off. So I went out to the reported location and searched for at least 10 minutes and I eventually spotted it floating in the water. After recovering it, the phone still worked and no water had entered the case. I rate the case itself 5/5 for usability and water-resistance. However, the visibility of the case is terrible. It is almost completely black, with only a little bit of green. Very difficult to spot floating in the water. When I was searching for my phone after the incident, I knew its active location within a 100 ft radius and even then it took me more than 10 minutes to see it. The lanyard clip breaking was inconvenient, but understandable considering the speed I was going. I am going to continue using the Pelican case for my phone on my jet ski, but from now on I'll use a different lanyard or maybe just keep it in the glovebox.

Love this product. I am in the river almost one day a week and always have this around my neck. Floats well. Able to still use phone and so far it has not gotten wet.

Throughout multiple water activities and plenty of recklessness, my phone stayed completely dry! The necklace attached to it is perfect for being hands free while keeping my phone with me, and even if you take it off the case floats so it'd be hard to lose. You can't fit much else in it besides the phone (maybe something flat like money if you needed to). The camera image was totally clear underwater, couldn't even tell the case was there in the videos. Worth it!

This is a solid product like everything Pelican does. And it fits a HiBy R4 (besides many cellphones).

Kept iPhone totally dry in sea water for 30 minutes but couldn’t activate photo button when submerged. Video button worked with phone raised above water before submerging to take video. Quality was great but bit of a hassle. Might have been water temperature, 56F too cold?

Protection: Kept our phones dry while sea kayaking. Didn't swim with it, but tested it under water using a paper towel and the towel stayed dry. The camera buttons worked well. Great value! Very portable and the capacity for the iphone was perfect. It was stiff enough to hold the iphone, but flexible enough to take it in and out of the pouch.

I used this waterproof phone pouch during my Niagara City Cruise at Niagara Falls. Being so close to the falls, the water coming down felt almost like standing in heavy rain, & the pouch kept my phone completely dry throughout the experience. The touchscreen still worked through the pouch, so I was able to use my phone & take photos & videos without having to remove it. The photos & videos also came out very clear. My Google Pixel 7 fits comfortably in the regular-size pouch. It was easy to use and gave me peace of mind knowing my phone was protected while getting so close to the falls. I didn't try submerging the pouch underwater, so I can't comment on its performance when fully submerged. But for protecting my phone from the water while getting close to the falls, it worked very well.

去年、アマゾンで安価なスマホケースを購入し、海でガンガン泳いで使いまくったが、とてもチャッちくてスマホに危険を感じたため、ペリカンブランドの底力とレヴューにある高評価を信じてこちらを買いなおした。大正解の大当たりだった。値段はそこそこしたが、割引とポイントが付いたので実質3000円。すごい丈夫だし去年買ったペラペラとは大違い。自分はマリンスポーツやシュノーケリングをガンガンハードにするので思い切ってこれくらいしっかりしたものをチョイスして大正解だった。何よりタフで、スマホがしっかりカヴァーされている安心感があるし海の中で写真を撮りたいので本当に買って良かった。が、自分のスマホとの相性があるようで自分のスマホだとホームボタンが3回に1回くらいしか反応してくれない。他の操作には一切問題がないのだが。これでは海の中で写真を撮りたい時にベストショットは間違いなく逃してしまうだろう。。(泣)だけど、これ以上良い「海で使えるスマホケース」は見つからなかったので今回の物が劣化してもまた買いたいから末長くこのお品を扱ってほしい。ペリカンロゴの素敵なストラップが付いてたが、シュノーケリング時にかさばるので他で愛用したいです。【海で実際使ってみた追記】やはり海の中ではスマホが一切反応せず、写真は撮れないのだが、ムービーにしてそのまま海へ入れば良いと知り、やってみたら、抜群に綺麗な映像が撮れた。心から大満足。今後も末永く愛用します。本当にこちらを買って良かった。

Purchased for wild swimming so I could monitor my distance accurately using my phone. Floats along happily next to tow float. Touch screen works well, even when wet and the camera function is nominal. Build quality is good as would expect from a branded product, the addition of the buoyant material mean your phone is kept at the surface and also protected from impacts. Fits a Galexy s24 in a case with room to spare. Can be a bit fiddly to open/close with cold hands.
