Beef Paddywack Tendons 5-6" Dog Chews, 5 Count

for context my six month old puppy goes through yak chews, bully sticks and busy bones in 5-7 minutes tops, so usually I take the "long lasting" label with a grain of salt. he can even dislodge the filling from filled bones very quickly. he's been working on one of these for fifteen minutes now and has barely chipped the corner! if you own a teething or mouthy puppy I highly recommend trying these out for your sanity.

I was looking for an alternative to rawhide that my dogs didn't chew up in a few minutes. I have found that the Nature Gnaws Paddywack sticks are long lasting and a healthy natural alternative. The pieces are random in thickness, width and length and after going through one bag I have learned what size and thickness will keep my dogs busy for a while. I have a pair of industrial scissors that I can carefully cut the wider sticks along the "grain" to divide them in half. These seem to be a bit more brittle than rawhide as I can hear my dog crunching on them but so far they are the best long-lasting alternative to rawhide that I have found. They are a bit pricey but not as much as other rawhide alternatives when you consider how long they keep your best buddies busy.

Edited a couple days later. Yeah these phawkin suck neither of my dogs like them which might make them seem as picky eaters but I've caught one eating a rock and recently just chewing on walnuts till she broke the open and eating the insides. Also pretty sure these made my dog choke cause when they ate it sounded like it was hard and broke and splintered like chewing on dry rigatoni if that made sense. First Review: As the title said both of my dogs preferred beef gullet over this when presented with both options. one dog even dropped this and ran over to me when i opened the beef gullet. Also there's a lot of what I assume is grease or fat on this so i dont know the exact shelf life of this since fat goes bad pretty fast

The product is really great because it’s a long lasting chew. They are thick and it takes the dog time to gnaw through them. My dog loves these and I love giving her natural chews. The only problem I have is the packaging. As you can see by the photos, the packaging is torn in many places so I don’t know how fresh the product is when it arrives to me. The product is in no way damaged, and it could be that because the tendons are so thick and rigid that during shipping and handing, the product caused the tearing of the packaging. Luckily, Amazon had it in their shipping bag so it was somewhat protected. Still, I recommend these to anyone who has a dog as mine really enjoys these!
