Same sound, higher durability compared to the Phantom.
I already own several FetHead variations and wanted to give this a go. On paper it seems like a no-brainer purchase. It supports Ribbon, Dynamic, and Condenser microphones all simultaneously unlike the Cloudlifter. It's a bit heavy for its size so if you don't have proper cable management with some velcro or something you will have some scary moments where it could pull your interface if it's a smaller size. Sound is virtually the same as other Triton Audio Premap interfaces. I see this lasting much longer than my other Fethead products however. I've had FetHead Phantoms, Filters, and Blockers get ruined because of the TSA unfortunately during flights. I do not see that being AT ALL possible with this.

These need an additional XLR cable to work
These are over priced as you can easily get better sound with a dedicated pre amps like the art one I have that's 25 years old.
