The BEML Magazine Loader, Universal - Fits All Calibers

This tool is amazing. I've had this for 6 years and it still works. Loaded well over 30000 RDS. Highly highly recommend.

Simple, but effective. Gives you extra leverage to depress the cartridges already in the magazine so you can slip in the next one. Instead of pushing down with your thumb, you have the power of your whole hand / arm. Watch their video for how to use.

Neat ammo magazine loader and well thought out. As pictured. It takes a little getting used to it, but works as intended. Only 4 stars as I don't think it's any faster than the typical mag loaders available, but it is universal for most pistol calibers if you only have room for one or to keep in your pouch/field box. I had trouble keeping the bullets on it when the mag was getting full and the spring tension inside the mag increased, making it hard to align and push the next round in. If you have dry fingers like I do, this might not be for you. On the other hand, it is a brilliant idea if like the originator, you only have one hand or are handicapped in such a way you only have the use of one hand. It definitely has a place for those in need. That said, it's small, lite weight, universal, and works fine enough I'll keep it in my range bag for GP. A little pricey for what it is but a worthy investment. Particularly for those fellow shooters that find other types of mag loaders inconvenient or impossible to use. YMMV... Enjoy!

To start off, I'm 77 years old and these old hands don't work as good as they once did. This is my new favorite magazine loader! I have the "UpLULA" loader, and it is really good. I also have the "LUDEX" mag loader, and it is also a pretty good loader. I use the "SPEED BEEZ", an excellent loader, if they make one for your pistol magazine. This "Captain Jax" loading tool is my favorite of them all. This might not be for everyone, but for me it is like loading by hand using my thumbs, only with this tool helping out with the hard part. If you load magazines by hand, but want a tool to help the process, this is a good tool for that; plus, you can carry it with you in your pocket and you look like you know what you're doing when using it! I also sit down at a table/bench to load magazines no matter what other speed loader I'm using, except this "Captain Jax" loader. This one I can use standing up and don't need a table, that's a big advantage for me. Even though "The BEML" works really well, I thought it needed to have the pointed ends of the metal rods smoothed. I wrapped some 1,200 grit silicone carbide sandpaper around a pencil the same diameter as my pistol cartridge and stroked/polished the ends of the rods smother. That got rid of the friction of pushing the tool into and down on the last cartridge I had just loaded, making it easier to slide/insert the next cartridge. This review got longer than I had planned. There wasn't enough stars to say how great this is for me! I like the man who invented it, also have virtually no use of one arm and hand. I shoot both a 9mm and a .45 so it's very handy!

A single stack mag with a strong spring can be really aggravating (even painful). This loader makes the task much easier
