Great light, it’s not small or lightweight but it’s not obnoxious for EDC either. The foldout side light combined with the magnetic tail cap is absolutely awesome for all kinds of hands free mechanical work. And the ability to change the color temp of the side light to suit the surfaces you’re working on or ease the strain on your eyes is also a nice feature. The main light is very bright and has good throw for its size. The red is great and bright the UV is ok not super bright but good enough to find dyes, staining, etc that UV lights are usually made for. Build quality is good and the interface is easy to learn and works well.

The flashlight works great the side light rotates 180 degrees and it has a magnetic base which makes it one of the best work lights I've used and had as a hvac technician. The battery life on the flashlight is super long depending on how high of brightness you have it set to. Also the side light can go from cool light to warm light. All the lights have stepless ramping except for the uv light that has only two settings. The front light has a very long distance throw beam with a bit of a flood so you can see the surrounding if the beam too. All and all the light is great for technical work in small spaces and outdoor hiking and camping for more open areas too. The side light can go up and down with stapless ramping brightness too. I've dropped the light from 10ft and no visible damage and the light still works great. A work horse light for sure. If you are looking for a great quality light this is it but for edc purposes it's a bit big for that. But to does come with me to all my job sites carried in my work sling pack.

I have many flashlights and this is by far one of the brightest. The thing I like best about it is it can be turned on straight to RED. This preserves night vision. But if you have to start out White to get to the red, you just compromised your night vision for half an hour already. The flood light that deploys out the side can really be useful on say a table. It can give you the light without it hitting you right in the face at the same time, like most COB lights will do. It has a very strong magnet and I like that you can screw it into a tripod which means you can probably use it to light up your whole camp if placed high enough. I highly recommend this light.

Update 1.5 year later. After i was persistently writing for a month onto all wurkkos emails i found in the internet the seller finally noticed my mail and shipped again. Got my flashlight after 2 month of awaiting. Like i said - flashlight is perfect. Support is ok. Update: 1 year later. Two star for a non-existent support. There is none. No “Wurkkos Customer care team” behind these words in the order receipt. Ordered a new flashlight directly from their website (to also get some extras there), it stuck somewhere and guys are not responding for a third email. Took the address fromtheir official website. Same website has link to facebook messages that isn’t opening. So don’t expect a good product from non-responding and irresponsible soon-to-disposed vendor. ——— After having Nitecore mh10 (6500k) and Sofirn sp35 (5000k) for years I decided to try warmer ones, ordered both wukkos 4000k and 2700k, really liked them both. I’d say 4000k is good as a regular light, and 2700k is outstanding and unique for the romantic glow it produces. You need to be fond of camp fire, fireplaces or candle light (those are all around 1000k however) to start valuing 2700k. Also If you use night shift feature on your iphone - then you must know why the warmer light is better at night. Need to say warm doesn’t mean dim, both wukkos can be bright enough to fully illuminate the bedroom. FYI the beam is flooded, no distinct borders, so surely wukkos f11 is not for far distances. But to fill the room or porch with romantic light - ideal. Magnet is stronger than on other flashlights i have, sticks firmly to the fridge. I prefer 18650 batteries for the fact that you can usually use 2x cr123 batteries instead - wukkos is no exception here. So that dual fuel and the compact size makes wukkos good edc light. The HD05 is an interesting mult-featured flashlight. It is solid, well made, with great fit and finish. It is a bit heavy, so maybe not a pocket carry flashlight, but it makes a fantastic bag light. The main emitter is bright enough to do everything I might need it to do, and the red and UV lights are fantastic additions. The flip out light with it's adjustable color temperature is very handy and makes for a great camping/reading/emergency light. The magnetic mount is an added bonus as is the tripod threading.

Solidly built, bright, nice red vision-saver light, nice UV, and an awesome flood that lights up a camp table beautifully. Does everything it says on the box and does it well.

A solid choice for a versatile, utilitarian flashlight. The main reason this flashlight is so useful is the sidelight. Sure, it's main light is powerful, adjustable, and is the headliner of the device, but half the time you need light is when you need your hands free, working on something, or to light up a room or tent when you have no power. Stand this guy up and open that sidelight to light up a room, or attach it to your car while working on it, that side light aims the light right where you need it while hands-free. The light has all the other features you could possibly want and the build quality feels great.

The 2700k color temperature duplicates the light color of incandescent lights such as mag lights which is very easy on the eyes compared to the more prevalent cheap 6500k led flashlights that have a harsh blue tint. The user interface on this light is also very good with ramping adjustment for brightness, instant turbo mode, instant eco mode, and a lockout mode to keep the light from turning on in your pocket. The magnetic tail cap, and battery indicator are also nice features. The beam has a fair amount of flood which I like. Only criticism of this light is that the eco mode is still pretty bright. It's not too bad, and in eco mode, it is a similar output to my AA mini mag light as you can see in the picture. I have owned a couple of BLF A6 flashlights for several years now, and I have been spoiled by the moonlight mode which is much dimmer than the eco mode in this Wurkkos, and is just enough light to see without ruining night vision too much. Moonlight mode is perfect for finding your way around the house or camp without awaking everyone else. I use it frequently. I also prefer a tailcap switch of the BLF A6. For these reasons, I will continue to carry the same BLF A6 that I have carried every day for the last 8 or 9 years, but these Wurkkos flashlights will make great lights for most people who aren't as picky. Again, the Wurkkos is a great option with great features such as pleasant color temperature and friendly user interface. I highly recommend. Wurkkos, if you are reading, add a moonlight brightness setting

This is a very cool and powerful little flashlight…….packed with features without being overly complicated. May be the finest specimen of it’s kind in the EDC family!
