Sweet Street Choc'olate Lovin' Spoon Cake (1 Count)

I LOVED this cake when it was sold at McAlisters & I was so sad when they stopped. I ordered one for mine & my twin sister’s birthday & it was just as we remembered!!! AMAZING! PS - the lady that complained about the papers being inside, it has always been like that & I appreciate that it helps separate the slices! Working at McAlisters was mine & my sisters first job when we were 16 (we are now 45). It’s always had the paper.

We used to get this at a restaurant for many years. They changed suppliers recently, and were heartbroken. So thrilled to find out from the manager the brand name. When we found it on Amazon, we couldn’t believe. It’s a moist, rich, semi sweet chocolate. Not dry like many chocolate cakes. Individually sliced and frozen, so it’s not the best for display, but the taste is off the charts.

My Husband and I had to cake in a restaurant I believe in North Carolina while we were on a road trip. We absolutely loved it !!! My husband took a picture of it on the menu and researched where to buy it. I am a baker so really we never do this, and the cake is pricey but he could not get this cake out his head, so after the holidays I agreed for him to order it. It is a real treat if your a chocolate lover like we are. We ate some, gave some to family and froze a couple of pieces for another treat when we went some.

i would write a longer review but i have to go back to eating this deeply chocolately sinfully decadent so-good-you-can-eat-it-frozen wonder of a cake. we may relocate to a home near the bakery. buy this cake, you will not be disappointed.

This cake is delicious! It arrived within 24 hours of being shipped. It was packed in dry ice to keep it cold.

This cake was the highlight of my childhood birthdays! So what it’s frozen, so what it’s individually sliced and placed. This cake is a chocolate lovers dream! They call the filling pudding but it’s not, it’s more like a good fudge in texture and taste. Originally marketed by Sara Lee, the supply chain stopped in SC. Originally found in Columbia, SC at Colum is Mall’s Häufbräuhäuss and later at McCalister’s Deli. So happy to have it back home. By the slice, by the cake or by bulk (3 cakes)

I have ordered this cake before and loved it. I sent this to someone else. It arrived pre-cut with papers in it which is not very attractive for a graduation party. That is not how I have received it before, so I was disappointed. The presentation is not attractive. I was expecting a whole cake and so was the mother of the graduate. It did not match the picture on the website and did not meet my expectations, especially since i have ordered before and expected something different. I expected something beautiful, especially for the price. And expected it to match the picture. There was no warning it would arrive with papers all through it.

Haven't purchased from here, but ordered my fair share at McAllisters (when they carried it). LOVE LOVE LOVE!
