I was expecting something totally different. The author mentions that she came from a Aristocratic and European family. I lived in Venezuela. In my opinion, Carolina came from a wealthy family in a poor country. For your information the ancestors of a big part of the population in Latin America came from Europe. This doesn’t mean we are special and different, simply that we are from Latin America. I always admire Carolina Herrera for her success and because she was from Venezuela. I was expecting a down to earth person. This book is all about “me me me” and not much about fashion, few fashion pictures are poor.
