Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy has become one of my favorite pre-workout supplements. The Fruit Fusion flavor tastes great—refreshing, not overly sweet, and easy to drink before a workout or even as a mid-day energy boost. It mixes well with water and doesn't leave a gritty texture behind. What I like most is the balanced energy. The combination of green tea and green coffee extract provides a noticeable lift in focus and motivation without the harsh crash or jitters that some high-stimulant pre-workouts can cause. The added BCAAs and amino acids are a nice bonus for supporting training and recovery. The flexibility of the serving size is another plus. I can use a smaller amount for a light energy boost or increase it before more intense workouts. With 65 servings per container, it also offers excellent value. Overall, this is a versatile and effective supplement that delivers clean energy, good flavor, and solid workout support. I would definitely purchase it again.

I love this product. I have had a number of their flavors I add it to my drink with creatine and other things and drink it daily. It doesn’t have too much sodium like some electrolyte drinks. Not too much caffeine like some preworkout drinks. So it’s a good fit to have some extra caffeine and electrolytes without being too overwhelmed be either. The taste is great and I have tried a few of them. It’s one of the cheapest ways to get an energy and electrolyte drinks. Much cheaper than the small pouches. Too much coffee gives me heartburn so it’s a great alternative. It works great at giving energy and keeping me hydrated. The powder dissolves quickly and easily.

This is my second purchase and first review of this product. The caffeine level is adequate for a nice boost, but comes on slowly and is from green tea and guarana so no jitters. Green tea often has a calming affect on users. I like the mixed berry flavor, but really can't point to one that stands out which may be the way it's designed. Providing the essential amino acids (our bodies can't make these) is a nice touch, low sodium and calorie count. I use collagen in mine when i mix it each morning for a nice adder. I recommend it, this is the 65 serving container and you will use 2x scoops in around 10-12 oz of water.

I decided to switch from another pre-workout I normally use in the morning to the Fruit Fusion Amino Energy Pre-workout. I used this product to get my day going and to boost energy as well as brain function. Although it was not used before a workout in this case, I would not hesitate to utilize it before heading to the gym! This product was more affordable than others and was the reason why I decided to switch. I evaluated this product based on the following factors: energy, taste, and nutrition. Overall, the product was good. If you’re looking for a great energy boost, this essential amino energy drink is one for you and definitely a great way to get the day started off right. Two scoops at a time caused me to be jittery so going with 1-1.5 scoops worked best as far as energy goes and caused the fewest jitters. Aside from this, it was not the best tasting pre-workout out there – I was hoping for a product that tasted a bit more natural. Once past that initial flavor, it was not too bad. If a natural flavor is something you are not concerned about, it was great tasting and the fruit fusion is a great flavor. Additionally, the powder was average when it came to mixing; not the best but also not the worst. As far as nutrition, the essential amino acids, natural energizers and antioxidants are great. It is also great for post workout recovery if you use it after a tough day at the gym. The only downside is that it is sweetened with sucralose over a preferable and healthier Stevia choice, in my opinion. Overall, this Fruit Fusion Amino Energy pre-workout was pretty good! It offered a great deal of energy and the overall nutrition within it was ideal, aside from being sweetened with sucralose. The only downside was the taste, but it still was not too bad. This product is recommended to those searching for a great energy boost that also offers nutritional value!

I’ve been using this before my workouts, and it gives me a smooth energy boost without making me feel jittery. The Fruit Fusion flavor tastes great—not too overpowering—and it mixes easily with water without leaving clumps. It also helps me stay focused during my workouts and doesn’t leave me with an energy crash afterward. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a lighter pre-workout or an afternoon pick-me-up. I would definitely buy it again.

I have now tried two different flavors so I feel like I can give a fair review. Everyone could use a little energy boost once in a while, most people go to energy drinks or coffee for this. Now, I HATE coffee and I hated how energy drinks made me feel, plus the amount of sugar in alot of energy drinks is a huge turnoff as I am trying to get into shape. This stuff is literally just amino acids and caffeine from natural sources, no jitters, and no feeling all wound up. Its low calorie, and NO SUGAR. Theres probably an artificial sweetener in there, but if you are eating clean for the vast majority of your diet this wont be an issue. The amount of caffeine per serving is relatively small, but thats really nice because it gives you greater control over how much caffeine you want to take. I have tried both green Apple and Watermelon. I really liked the Green Apple, and I saw in another review that Watermelon doesn't have artificial colors in it so I wanted to try it as well. The Green Apple is a very heavy flavor while the Watermelon is a very light flavor, watermelon is actually so light in color it shocked me at first!. Both are very nice and taste similar to Jolly Ranchers. Now, when the instructions say cold water, they mean cold water. I HATED this stuff the first time I tried it because I used cool room temperature water straight form our berkley filter. Now I keep a half gallon of our filtered water in the fridge just for this stuff. I am so happy I came across this supplement. ON has many highly praised products, and now I see why! Because of the lack of sugar, artificial sweeteners in some flavors, and ease of control over your caffeine dosage this is GREAT stuff to get if you are ADHD like me, or otherwise have a sensitivity to those things. If you want a low calorie, no sugar caffeine alternative to coffee or energy drinks, and dont want to take caffeine pills like me, definitely try this stuff!!

great taste, good energy. started taking this for me/cfs so i can feel like i have some of my energy and old life back and so far happy with results and will be reordering. tried the flavor "fruit fusion" and it's a great flavor. like a monster without the bubbles and crap in it. dissolves easily and is becoming part of my routine.

Adds flavor and energy to beverages. I use it in smoothies.

I love that this pre workout is not sweet!
