This bamboo steamer has been an absolute delight to use. The craftsmanship is beautiful, the bamboo feels sturdy, and it gives my dumplings and veggies that authentic restaurant-style texture and flavor. It fits perfectly over my wok, holds plenty of food, and cleans up surprisingly easily. I have already used it for bao, fish, and even reheating leftovers, and everything comes out perfectly moist and evenly cooked. It is one of those simple kitchen tools that instantly makes you feel like a pro chef. If you love to cook, this steamer is hot stuff — literally.

This kit is all you need to steam up a batch of dumplings. I made soup dumplings over the weekend and decided I didn't want to use a metal steamer anymore - they tend to leave the bottom of your dumpling soggy. Not with this bamboo steaming set. Perfectly sized to fit in my wok. It includes steamer liners, so if used, just a quick rinse under water is all you need for clean up. So easy to use, and the chopsticks/dipping dishes are perfectly sized. I think using this style of steamer even cuts down on cooking time as opposed to my metal pot steamers. I can make up an entire batch of soup dumplings in 2 rounds of steaming.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this after reading some reviews, but opted to take a chance and I am so glad I did. The item arrived literally just in time for me to steam up some dumplings for dinner, and it worked perfectly. I cleaned and let it dry completely and so far have seen no issues with mildew. Given the nature of bamboo, you can expect some splintering but that is fine as long as it isn't truly cracked. The chopsticks are adorable and the couple sets I had before have been getting heavy use, so now I have several more pairs to work with. The leaf dishes were in tact and are even cuter in person than I expected from the pictures. But I have yet to use them. The steamer papers are perfect and a great addition to this item sale. If you are looking to purchase, read care instructions carefully and just try to take good care of it, and it should be fine.

This is a fantastic bamboo steamer basket set that comes with some nice extras, all at a very reasonable price. The 10" size is just right for a small family and works perfectly for dumplings, bao buns, and other steamed foods. There isn't a lingering smell, and the food tastes nice and clean. As someone new to bamboo steaming, I found this to be a great starter set, the steamer itself feels sturdy, the bottoms are thick enough to hold food but open enough to allow for great steam circulation, and the metal-reinforced rims are a nice touch to prevent fraying and warping over time. The coated side handles are surprisingly helpful for lifting and transferring the stack, and the bonus accessories, like the paper liners, chopsticks, and leaf-shaped dipping bowls (which I especially love), are not only good quality, but fit neatly inside the steamer for compact storage. It’s super easy to use, just place it over a pot or wok with boiling water (being sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the food rack), and steam away. Cleaning is also nice and easy, which is always a plus. The only minor downside was that one of the lid weaves on my unit had a bit of a run in it and was loose, but it doesn't affect the function as far as I can tell. All in all, it's a great value set with thoughtful accessories. Would definitely recommend!

Oh yes, this set is wonderful! Comes a bit dusty, guessing that's bamboo, so just give it a gentle soapy wash. It dries super fast, and I've seen no rough or jagged edges or splinters. I also love that it comes with parchment inserts that fit perfectly and have little holes. Keeps the interior easier to clean very nice touch. The chopsticks are cute and I love the chopstick rests, which can actually double as a sushi soy sauce dipping dish. I've been making shu mai in it so far, but can't wait to use this for veggies and reheating rice, etc. It's so easy and quick, I'm glad I went for it.

Great product—easy to use and very lightweight! The capacity is perfect for steaming food for 1–2 people in a single batch. With four people in my household, I probably should have opted for a larger size, but that’s on me. I’ve used it to steam dumplings, fish, and vegetables with great results. Just be sure to soak it well before each use and dry it thoroughly before putting them away. The included chopsticks were okay—one was oddly bent and didn’t work as well—but I absolutely love the little leaf-shaped sauce dishes. I use them daily!
