The appearance, quality, and color of this sapphire is stunning. I will be purchasing from his seller again! It came with white gloves, and a booklet describing other minerals as well as information about my purchase of a sapphire. My 11 year old Alexander has quite a collection.

A piece of junk . a pale blue . Will not buy again . I wanted more but 6 stones and not one of any count . colors are so pale it looks fake

By far the worst and poorest gemstone I've ever purchased from Amazon. I was shocked by the wrapped up gem because I certainly expected it to be a quality gem. I am angrily retaining to return it but mostly because of the distance to the only place in the area. I live on an island so it's a great deal of work to drive that far. The gas to return it will be about the same as the cost of the gem. By the way, it is way more blue for a Sapphire soI looked at the plastic bag that it was in and it does say color enhanced. This is the only time I use Amazon for this kind of purchase because I am a collector and to be honest, this would be approximately $2.00 at a gem show! Severely dissatisfied. Buyer beware as the gems require a magnifier and I am not sure who thought this was a good idea for getting repeat business but it is a great way to sour me on the company.

It came with a certificate and was as described with the exception of the shape. I am guessing that the seller uses one picture for a lot of similar sizes gems. I plan to use this one as a practice for gem cutting but was hoping for something a bit less irregular. Either way you can't really beat the price.The 2nd one I received was even better. It still was cloudy but was a lot more translucent and a much better shape. Its very pretty just not transparent.

The sapphire is a lovely color and a decent value for the price. The one complaint I have is that the description says it’s a natural blue sapphire but the gem certification card that came with it said it’s been color-enhanced. I’m not sure why the seller doesn’t disclose this as it is important information. Many people like the enhanced color but some want their sapphires to not be color-enhanced even if that means getting a lighter blue stone. Sellers need to truthfully disclose in their listings when gemstones are color-enhanced so buyers know exactly what they are getting at the time of purchase and not find out once they receive the item that it isn’t what they were led to believe it was.

Is just as pictured. Deep blue. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a certification of authenticity describing everything about it. Although the cert. Admits "color enhancement" I'd rather know the truth than suspect a lie. I'm definitely buying more stones. It arrived just 1 or 2 days after I ordered it. In all my years of buying rocks and crystals on line have I received a certification like this.
