I used to use a Microsoft Sidewinder, since I was typing in Japanese for some things, and having the characters on the board was really nice. When it started to die, I took a look at regular mechanical keyboards, since I didn't need the Japanese keys, anymore, and my gf really liked her mech board. I always hated the loudness of the switches, however. This keyboard, however, isn't any louder than my Sidewinder, and the feel of the keys is great. I use it for gaming, typing, and for photo editing work. I finally get the appeal. The backlighting has far more options than I would ever need, being the kind of person who just keeps it on the solid white setting. But, changing lighting setups is beyond easy, and the manual is very helpful. As I said, the keys/switches feel awesome, and the noise is minimal. They have the right amount of spring and click, without being obnoxious. I don't know what else I can say other than that this keyboard made a longtime skeptic a believer. Great price, and great quality.

I have been using this keyboard for nearly a year. The black switches that came with it are nice, and the keycaps have a nice look and feel. It’s a nice keyboard to type on. But I’m writing this review because of the hot-swappable switches. For the price, they’re a steal. I was able to remove them with a pencil. Even if you don’t wanna change the switches (like me) the fact that you can remove them means that you can access all the parts of the keyboard to repair it. Last night I spilled lemonade into the keyboard. When it started acting on the fritz, I was able to completely disassemble the parts that were giving me issues. Could not recommend an item more.

I've cycled through a fair amount of budget mechanical keyboards and while this one is excellent, it's not what I wanted. The construction is solid and the whole keyboard feels well build. I'm impressed by the finish on the keys, print and overall quality of the board. It's heavy ABS plastic and great quality. The keys themselves feel great and it still provides a good "click" without being obnoxious (my favorite kind). One thing to note (and the reason I'm returning this one) is the key switches are linear, which means there's no tactile 'bump' or 'resistance' to pressing a key; they just go straight down. While this is a really nice keyboard, it's not the one I wanted. Sorry!

Nice when works. Num pad stopped working, and support no reply. Stay away Update; I got a replacement and after a while same issues. Numpad stopped working.

Way better than a standard keyboard. Mechanical keyboards are great. This one looks and feels nice, as well. It has some weight to it, so it feels well-made!

Sometimes I thought it was a little unwieldy to type on, but overwhelmingly it's a very good board and simple as well. I recently accidentally spilled a whole glass of water on it though and now it's on the fritz, but I didn't expect it to be waterproof so still good quality product!

This a great keyboard for the price. I have no complaints at all. It definitely "punches above it's weight". 14 months later: I still really (want to) like this keyboard, but I had to stop using it. a few of the keys started behaving oddly. I ran a keyboard tester that showed that when clicking on certain keys, others would be triggered at the same time. This makes the keyboard un-useable. I lowered my rating down to thee stars as I got a 14 months of use out of it... not too bad for the price.

I'm a keyboard snob, and this feels just as nice as much more expensive Cherry MX keyboards. Nice weight to it, and doesn't feel cheap at all. Almost unbelievable that it's only 30 bucks. The white led backlight looks really classy too, without the garishness of RGB. We'll see if it holds up, but so far I couldn't be happier.

Excelente producto, de muy buena calidad, práctico, llegó en excelente condiciones, el teclado es pesado por lo que hace que tenga buen balance. Solo que lo pedi en rosa y llegó en negro, es un Excelente producto, lo recomiendo.

As someone who's constantly moving his hands to and from the keyboard this is the right one for me. I love the greater resistance of the black switches compared to other switches -- with a previous mechanical keyboard with brown switches I found that whenever I would get back to the keyboard I would almost always type a letter by mistake (typically "j") but this never happens with this keyboard. Also the sound is a lot more pleasant than the loud clicks I had with the other keyboard.

Initially skeptical about this keyboard's quality, I'm now impressed. It stacks up against others that cost three times as much. For starters, the silent black switches are ideal for the office —they're quieter and have more resistance than the red ones. The price is also a huge plus. Plus, hot-swappable switches and full-sized layout. The only feature I'm missing is a wireless option; that would make it perfect for both office and home. For now I bought it only for the office.
