Frontier Co-op Organic Cut and Sifted Stinging Nettle Root 1lb

Just received and it is exactly what I expected. I notice a lot of reviews show that it’s all sticks. It’s actually dried stinging nettle root. Not to be confused with dried nettle leaf which is green and soft. They are two different parts of the plant. If you’re looking for leaves Try searching for nettle leaf not ROOT. This product is known as one of the best anti-inflammatory herbs there are. Nettle ROOT Can be used to make pain salve, pain relieving tincture, and teas or poultices. Where Nettle LEAF works great for Asthma and allergies.

I am 64 years old and have had BPH (enlarged prostate), LUTS (lower urinary tract symptoms), and nearly constant groin pain for 2-3 years. I tried saw palmetto, beta sitosterol, several hormones, Zyflamend (composed of various herbs), bee pollen, Urotraxal, Flomax, pumpkin seeds, etc with little or no success. Then I ordered this product and began using it as a tea once per day. The results were dramatic and immediate. I've now been using it for two months and have much reduced BPH/LUTS symptoms and NO groin pain. Incredible product -- HIGHLY recommended!

Ouch -- Product nicely packaged, fresh, nice aroma; item works well for me / my needs on a personal level (eg., aches, pain relief, aroma, with varied teas, breath refresher, added to sauna steamer for body refreshing), so for, this herb works phenomenally for me / my usage; but of course, I can only speak for my self, when tea drinking my favorite mix with nettle (eg., nettle root, ginger, rosemary, sage / green tea); will I repurchase this herb again, yes -- I will / have, both root and leaves; the aroma makes my entire apartment smell fresh and wonderful. -- Love this product and perfect for me -- Thanks for asking / have a perfect day!

It's been 9 months now, it works fine when I remember to drink it and stop coffee by 6pm. If I do my part, I sleep through the night. I gave a middle rating to flavor and freshness because well it's a grass, stem, think lemongrass without the lemon taste and its dried not fresh. The problem became drinking it daily when i didn't enjoy drinking it. BUT IT WORKS WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS, so now I make a gallon at a time and only need a cup per day, so its on hand, I make two cups of coffee in the morning and use one cup added to the water when I make coffee. I like strong coffee with a little cream, I don't taste it in my coffee. Now I sleep through the night with little to no fuss .

I’ve never had an issue with frontier co-op products. This stuff is very good for kidney function and is good as a tea.

This is a huge bag, at a fraction of the price of my local herb supplier. The product is fresh and potent. It isn't powder, but raw cut up root material. I put it in my blender to make a fine powder where you can smell the freshness, and add to shakes, it could also be used to make tea in it's raw form. Nettle root is san excellent supplement to stack with testosterone boosters like pine pollen or more synthetic additives as it works to prevent aromatizing to estrogen. It promotes available free testosterone by preventing conversion through binding.

nettle root is an excellent product for men in general-you place 2 to 3 tea spoons in a pot and pour in 2 cups of water then let heat it untilit starts to boil/ after that you leave the leave the tea that it now becomes in the pan to steep for 5 to 10 minutes/ you then get a small strainer that will fit into a cup and pour the tea into the strainer separating the tea from the root/its well worth the effort because you can make large quantitiesof tea and store in a container for daily use/nettle root is good for men who want to take care of their prostate/nettle leaf is entireally differentalthough they are from the same plant/ the root is primarially for prostate -nettle leaf isa preventive and cure all for 29 different ailments / you justhave to know which one you need to serve your purpose/
