Dirty Pleasures (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 2)

3.5/4 star review
We are back with book 2 in the Dirty Billionaire trilogy. Book one left us with Holly walking out on Creighton. Now, Creighton has flown across the country to find his wife, as she prepares for her tour. I haven’t given up on Holly & Crey (as he’s nicknamed in the book now) but I have some issues about book 2;Issue A; Holly Wix the major self-doubter. I get that she has her doubts. She married a man after a one-night stand. She doesn’t know him through Adam, besides he’s the biggest billionaire in the world. But in every chapter she’s doubting away. Instead of just playing it out, she’s become Holly the Doubtful.Issue B; Creighton’s over possessiveness/over controlling. I would be a liar if I said I didn’t like that quality in a H. But in book 2 here, Creighton is taking it a little to far for me. I get he wants the best for his runaway bride and wants to make sure she excels at her dream, but he’s becoming overbearing. Take it down a notch there, Crey.Issue C; Holly’s Mama. We learn she was in route to see Holly. Then all of a sudden Crey makes her disappear... Does she make an appearance in book 3 (I guess I’ll see about that) but if she doesn’t ... Why was her character made present?Issue D; The same broken record drama. Truth be told, Holly & Crey should just divorce. They constantly ring around their problems instead of solving them. She runs and he ignores her *sigh* What kind of quickie marriage is that?Even with all the issues I have for book 2, I’m still jumping into book 3. I hope my issues can be resolved. And I hope Holly & Crey can pull themselves together. Or I think I’m going to be the one fleeing the scene.

Getting Better!
This is the second installment in The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy and was another extremely quick read at 179 pages. Not too sure that it is really worth the price of $3.99 (maybe $.99 or $1.99) and once again I was disappointed because the book ended at 89%. And maybe, just maybe book one and two should’ve been rolled into one book.Dirty Pleasures picks up where Dirty Billionaire left off and I found that I enjoyed this book more than book one. I finally got to hear their stories and get some background on Holly and Creighton. I am enjoying Creighton and his dirty talking, caveman ways, but Holly – dang girl you are just to “drama” for me. Creighton is doing all he can to show Holly how much he really does love her and in return Holly runs – AGAIN and AGAIN. How about stopping and having a heart-to-heart with your husband… ya know communicate!! Can these two work out their differences or will Holly be on the run again throughout book three.Sadly, I will buy book three to find out how their story really ends but will not be buying anymore of Ms. March’s books, unless they are full length and for a decent price. She does know how to write those sex scenes!

Holly and Creighton are..
Tearing me apart. They need to get their act together! And Now!This book was a terrific continuation and perfect turning point for this trilogy. I just Love March when it comes to the Book 2 of her triads. Finally, Holly and Creighton have acknowledged things in themselves that downright scare them, but it’s not nearly enough! After the amazing and dastardly moments in book 2, Holly and Creighton are still at such odds. Enemies are popping their heads, and unfortunately it’s the closest to them the ones to depend on, that are the most impudent. On Holly’s side, she’s eternally condemned with guilt over the los of her Gran and the impetuous and selfish nature of her mother. Will she ever forgive herself for the loss of the one woman who loved her? Will she let her mom go and cut the damn umbilical cord- to not take responsibility for her childish mom’s actions? And when will she see hope is a joy and not a form of punishment?Creighton is still a mystery as far as his personal history is concerned. But we know enough. He’s a man who grew in the shadows and is learning and embracing the light of a true relationship. But now he must face the fact that Annika, his ex wife, has planted noxious seeds of doubt in Holly’s ear. Is his uncle going to tear them apart for his own selfish ambitions? And will Creighton, now willing to make sacrifices, make the right sacrifices to keep Holly? Was buying the record label a boon-seeing that the genesis of this impulsive relationship was based on his ability to protect her career- or will his action look like yet another possessive “acquisition” for his addiction to winning? He sees. He wants. He conquers. But can he keep?I’m ready for this dizzying tale of insecurities and compromise to come to a dazzling end! Preferably where Holly is performing with Eliza Belle in MSG, singing straight to the soul and eyes of Creighton! Haha can’t u picture it?!All in all, March has a gift for writing endearing and entertaining af tales, a slice a life dipped in sin! I’m really enjoying her books between longer, serious reads.

Continue your dream
Crey thinking he had a young inexperienced girl he could control with his dominance and his kinky sex, was so shocked when he realized she could hold her own. Holly came from a rough life but was determined not to let anyone stop her dream from being a country singer. Crey planning her life/career around his. He promised he would make sure she would get to her next gig on time. He did a no show. Holly took the next flight to make it to her gig on time. She left Crey a note saying "goodbye ". Several hours later when he came home and Crey came home his alpha personalty kicked in. He went on the hunt until he found her. Him not realizing what he did wrong until Holly told him what he did, he knew he let her down. He learned actions speak louder than words. He decided he would go on the tour with her because he couldn't understand why she would prefer struggling to be a singer than being a billionaire house wife. By the time the tour was done, he saw how extremely talented she was and how her fans really loved her, he understood why she loved music so much and was determined to support her the way she wanted his support.

Part 2 in the Trilogy
This was again a great read. But could have been better. You find out a lot more about Holly and what's going on and what she faces. Through it all its amazing to see Creighton's unwavering support for Holly, but it's disappointing to see her childish behaviour and silly accusations. The guys willing to move wherever you are, what's the issue. It was quite frustrating at times. Yes the chemistry and sex were amazing but more analysis and background info on Creighton would have been super helpful.Again left on a similar cliffhanger as before was frustrating, because you get mad at Hollys reaction and attitude. Will look out for the final installment.

I enjoyed this book and bought the 2 sequels to finish ...
I enjoyed this book and bought the 2 sequels to finish the story. I was sucked in by Holly and Creighton's story and loved the dynamic between them. Their story and the way it was told was engaging. A very enjoyable read.I do agree with some other reviewers that although the first book was free, the further 2 cost a lot for what you were getting. I also think that the trilogy should have been one book. A total of 590 pages makes for a decent book length. There was no reason to split this into 3 parts except for the money.

Dirty pleasures.....
....and dirty pleasures they are!!This series is getting better! I love the chemistry between Holly and Creighton, especially Holly's sassy side! Some may say she seems spoilt and expects everything to be handed to her - I disagree....she has had a s****y upbringing, tragedy loosing her nan and now her dream is almost coming true and she's not going to let some alpha caveman take that away from her, even if that alpha caveman is hot, hunky, sexy, loaded and perfect for her!Again.... Go Holly!!!Downfall is the price, this is a trilogy so works out quite expensive but I'm hooked so looks like it's going to costs me lol.

Dirty Billionaire - Dirty Book Pricing
As lots of others have mentioned in their reviews. The first book is free and £4.99 each for the bookS 2 (180 pages) and 3 (207 pages) which is disappointingly short. Is this is done for more books sales? Definitely not value for money. Would have been best to have all 3 books in one.The story lines in book 2 & 3 lacked substance.

The style of writing is uniquely brilliant!!
More hot steamy, passionate scenes continue in this wonderful book. It is a direct follow on from book 1. We see Creighton use his alpha male strength to get what he wants, and what he wants is Holly. Holly, being the independent female that she is, does not come easily. Creighton has to work harder than he has for any business deal in his professional portfolio!! I love the style of writing that is Meghan March, it is uniquely brilliant. I'm jumping straight into book 3!!!
