Crab Leg Cutter Scissor -made in Japan

If you want to get all of the crab meat out of the shell, these are the scissors to get.

Use this for smaller crab, the longer pusher tip useful for pushing the small leg meat out, the middle claw area to split claw or leg, for bigger crab I like to use another arc style seafood scissor to cut the leg and craw on 2 side then split it, is easier.

Long finger tool to extract flesh from tight areas. precision scissors to trim the leg-shell or cut other thin shell material. between handles, shell cracker is perfect for the stubborn, thicker shells. FYI- I now own six of these because I was tired of sharing with others...LOL. awesome tool.

Very pleased with this purchase. I was searching for a pair of white handled kitchen shears to replace the ones that came with our Cuisinart knife block, and was pleasantly surprised to find these Japanese made ones at a very good price. Construction seems solid and cutting edges are razor sharp. I like that they can come apart for cleaning as well. Would buy them again for sure.

I no understand pointy part of scissor. It longer than cutty side and make harder to snippy snip. No good poking meat out. Seem no functional like horseband

I've used it a couple times. It works great as a pair of scissors but there has to be a use for the long jaw part that I'm not grasping. I can get the long end into the thin legs but then what? We could use some help by example!
