LAURA GELLER Spackle Makeup Primer, Champagne Glow - 2 Fl Oz

I did not anticipate liking this as much as I do. This product is very lightweight! Applies easily with the sponge I use. Creates a good base before applying a light coverage. I really like this product and will continue to purchase. The glow is incredibly subtle and creates a nice layering effect.

I needed to upgrade some of my foundation makeup to better suit my mature (age 60) dry sensitive skin. Finding the correct foundation color and type has always been a major frustration for me. I mean, who has a face that is one skin tone that stays the same day after day? And foundation formulations can be so matte they make your face look like a pancake, or so overly dewy your face looks like an oil slick. Yuck! I have been very pleased with the LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Spackle Primer - Hydrate formula I started wearing this year. Decided to try the Champagne Glow Spackle Makeup Primer layered over the Hydrate Spackle Primer in place of foundation. Simply put, one of the BEST makeup changes I have ever made! The Champagne Glow Primer is incredibly comfortable to wear, moisturizing, and provides a touch of glow to highlight your facial skin tones. So much better than ANY foundation makeup I have tried. I would never go back to wearing foundation again! The Champagne Glow Primer would look fantastic on any skin tone. The pump dispenser is super easy to use. A terrific value, too. So happy I found this combination skin care and beauty product. I highly recommend it!

Laura Geller products are new for me. I’ve never been one to use a primer before but I bought a kit online through her website and it included a different shade of the same primer. I liked it, so I bought this shade on Amazon. I like it also, but it does have a little more shine/sparkle to it for everyday. I think it would be best in the summer when you have a little bit of a suntan. It feels good though and smells nice and is super light feeling, absorbs quickly into my skin in just a few minutes. One thing I will say is a for sure notice a difference in how well the makeup I use on top of it lasts. My makeup actually looks ‘smoother’ using her primers too. You could even use this when you don’t feel like doing a whole job on your face, nothing else, and it makes your skin look quite nice.

I have used a dozen and more primers, always looking for The One. The closest I've found to being perfect are Benefit Pore Professional, which is ridiculously expensive or Tarte Shape Tape primer, which I catch on sale now and then. I had high hopes for something called Spackle Primer, as I have large pores and the fine lines now that I'm in my 40s. My skin is patchy red in places, cheeks and chin mostly. I tend to have combination skin, oily in the T-zone, somewhat normal to dry elsewhere. I don't have a primer that's supposed to help make the skin glow in my primer arsenal, so I took a chance on Champagne Glow rather than just the normal primer. I thought maybe it might be good for a date night make-up base. I have to say, despite getting it half off in price and the huge generous size (2 oz when most primers are 1 oz or less), I am pretty disappointed in it. All it does is makes my face and fingertips glittery. My skin doesn't glow...it sparkles like there's gold pixie dust blown on it. It does nothing to cover or shrink the look of the pores or fine lines. My makeup does not noticeably glide on smoother nor does it last longer. So in short, it does nothing you need for it to do when you wear primer as a base for your make-up. I don't know how the normal Spackle Primer works in comparison, if its formulation is better, but for me I'd say skip the Glow formulations. I certainly won't buy this one again. It's only too bad I now have SO MUCH of it.

Great product. Usually put this on everyday and as a result, don't have to use any make-up over it, just some blush. Gives your skin a beautiful healthy glow. Plus, it's quite light and makes your skin look translucent.

Wow I’m impressed. I’m 72 yo and haven’t put foundation for almost 8 years as foundation makes my skin old. My bare skin is glowing without foundation. But I have uneven pigmentation. So I bought this makeup primer along with Laura Geller foundation. The result? I can wear foundation!! Now I need to hunt eyeshadows

This doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve tried 1 other of her primers and it didn’t do anything. I’ve decided to order the newest L Geller primer and I really hope it works like it shows in the advertisements.

I usually have a hard time with facial products due to scents but this is great! Goes on smoothe, not greasy feeling and can apply powder pretty much instantly and not have to wait.

Ok not moisturising enough and the glow is very minimal

I only use Laura Geller makeup, so when I saw this at a reduced price, I had to order it. Very pleased with this.

Love LG Spackle. Have tried the Ethereal Rose which was lovely, so this time tried the Champagne - equally as good. Although the champagne is more of a beige colour and not quite as golden as I expected, nevertheless a great primer. Spackle makes a huge difference to makeup application, and provides the most perfect canvas to apply foundation. Only 1-2 pumps needed, and gives a sheer smooth canvas and reduces lines, wrinkles and imperfections. Important to wait 1-2 minutes for it to dry before applying make up.
