Since my favorite Glide floss was drastically changed I've been searching for a replacement. This product is it. It's totally different from Glide but it's good and works well. It's stretchy which really makes a difference. It does not shred, which is a great plus. Give it a try

This has become my favorite dental floss. A number of my teeth are close together and some other dental flosses are hard to get through the gap and/or shred while sliding in between the tight teeth. The stretchiness also makes it easy to keep the floss tightly wrapped on my fingers while I am flossing. I also think that the floss does a good job of scraping clean the space between the tooth and the gum, the whole purpose of flossing.

Strong floss that doesn’t shred easily between tight teeth. The mint flavor is pleasant without being overpowering, and the bulk pack lasts a long time. It’s one of those products I continue buying because it simply works.

Really like this floss. Feels like a stretchy rubber band and it feels like it does a better job than the usual string or tape style floss. For some reason the 6 pack is a bargain compared to buying a 1 or 2 pack.

I was looking for an alternative to Reach Woven Floss and this is the best I've found so far. I think it's the only viable alternative unfortunately, but it's pretty good relatively speaking. For years I had been using Reach Woven Floss, mint flavor. I bought a large quantity, maybe a 20 pack, years ago off Amazon. When I started running out, I noticed they changed the name to Listerine (for not apparent reason), and removed the Mint flavor. I was a little ticked off so I started shopping around, but nothing was quite the same in terms of comfort and thorough cleaning capability. So, I bit the bullet and bought some of the Listerine Cinnamon flavor and moved on. Then, they discontinued all woven floss, for no reason whatsoever. I suspect it was a patent issue, or a production cost issue, or perhaps some product manager just made a decision without talking to their customers. I looked for it on eBay and elsewhere and it's priced like gold - $20-30/package. Ridiculous. So, I started shopping around for alternatives. I tried quite a few of the "woven" flosses and they are all pretty terrible, and also expensive in many cases. I don't like the expandable floss, and the charcoal floss seems like a dumb idea to me, especially given the black residue it sometimes left in my mouth. I finally broke down and bought some of this, and it's reasonably decent. It doesn't tear easily, it's way better than just regular floss, it's infinitely better than the satin plastic stuff which in my opinion doesn't clean well at all. It will tear if you pull hard, but it's cheap and doesn't fray when it tears, so it's reasonable in that regard. It stretches, which I don't really care about, but it isn't annoying. The texture is better than straight plastic, which is very useful for cleaning. After thinking about it, the stretch is a nice touch only for the health of my fingers - it prevents a little bit of the blood flow cut that occurs in non-stretchy floss. I am giving it only 4 stars because of the product decisions of JNJ. Discontinuing Reach was not necessary. Discontinuing woven floss was not necessary, and created a black market of sorts for those who need it. Calling this Listerine is not necessary. Listerine in general is not necessary - read a little bit about the power of saliva, and how you don't get infections in open wounds in your mouth easily, and you'll realize you shouldn't be killing off microbes in your mouth with listerine (Gulp is a good book if you want to dig further into this). But, amongst all possible floss options that are still available for purchase, this is my favorite.

This is the best floss and I've repurchased this for years. It has a slight stretch to it and it really grabs onto the teeth, perfect for squeegeeing off plaque. It's also thin enough to slide under the gumline.

I decided to try this floss out as I find that the woven, waxed floss sometimes catches between my teeth and on occasion tears leaving a small piece trapped near the gum. This floss is not woven. It is made of some strong, rubbery stuff and so stretches. When stretched it becomes firm. I have not managed to break it. It costs more than regular floss but is a delight to use.

Expensive, but this is the first brand I tried that doesn’t shred even with very tight teeth. Highly recommended.

This is the second batch of this dental floss that I've ordered, used all 6 and got excellent results and will be my second review. I am 78 yrs old, have all my own teeth but a few areas of severe crowding and until I tried this product the other cotton flosses would get Stuck in these areas and would be worse than getting food stuck. It is elastic with a refreshing flavour and gets down to the bottom with gentle easing to clear any trapped food particles and t has never broken or become stuck. It is the BEST dental floss I've ever used and I will never switch .
