Has deer ate yours? How about other animals?

So far, no. I replaced some Annabelle hydrangea which were brutalized by deer with this shrub and they have not touched it.

Will this plant do well in a location that faces east? (Woods behind it, zone 5)

I'm in zone 5. I have these Spirea planted behind my house, south facing. Spirea are pretty hardy so you should be okay to plant there. These are really pretty and the three I planted made it through the winter no problem and all are in full bloom right now. Love the bright pink flowers!

How tall does this shrub get

Received these very healthy plants promptly. I have them planted and looking forward to the color they will add to two different gardens. Specs on the card say it will grow 2-3 feet tall and wide. The description on the card was "petite shrub" and size perfect for areas I wanted to use them in. Love spirea for the ease in care and the new plants coming out are fantastic.

It does not stay green. It loses all foliage through winter.
