Does the vacuum shown here come with a battery?

Oddly enough, mine did come with a 5.0 battery and charger. I understood this was a tool only purchase, but I'm happy about the bonus!

Has anyone tested to see if the 5.0 Ah m18 batteries will fit? i noticed a lot of comments about "larger capacity" m18's working.

It fits and lasts a lot longer than 4.0 batteries. I was amazed how long it went without recharging. I kept thinking it would run out...but only went to one bar and was STILL running well past 4.0 time. I recharged it before it ran out. Never have I done this with another 4.0 battery. Highly recommend.

Yes it will! That’s what I use. It runs a long time on it too!

Can I use this to inflate water toys?

Yes if you can come up with an adapter to go from hose to toy.
