Pimento Spread, 5 oz Jar(pack of 6) | 6 Pack

We have loved this product all our lives. They used to be so easy to find in a number of grocery stores prior to the pandemic. Harder afterward. Great flavor. As an aside, Kraft made a pimento sliced cheese umpteen years ago that they called "Mexican style cheese". Unfortunate that they discontinued it. It was just as good. Hope they never discontinue this product.

This is one of my favorite snacks on Ritz crackers! For some reason you cannot find this in the store anymore. Some stores are selling it very expensive and no one will buy it, but this was priced reasonably and was shipped very fast. It taste great even though the color looked a little weird, I will definitely order more. I recommend.

Old time favorite that ISN’T SAFE to consume! The “best by” date is advertised on jar as “on the lid” but no such date is displayed. Prior to discovering this, I’d opened a jar, excited to enjoy the product — Not! The content was very soft, almost mushy. With no date available, have to assume it’s been warehoused for quite some time. Overall, not a chance I wish to take; food poisoning comes to mind. FYI, this is true of all six (6) jars.I will return them but others please beware.

OMgosh! What's better on sandwiches, crackers or by the spoonful? I just wish Kraft made this in vat size. To me, it is the best pimento-cheese product on the market. And soooooo hard to find. Thank you Amazon!

I love the pimento spread but suddenly it disappeared from the store shelves. I bought some on here. It tasted ok but it looks very light in color and the taste has changed. I'd still buy it. but at this point its to expensive. bye bye pimento spread!!!!

I love this stuff and it is getting tough to find. May 2016 - I received 6 jars, 3 jars with "best when purchased by" date of Jul 2016 (2 months from now) and 3 jars dated Sept 2016 (4 months from now). I would like a longer shelf life but these 6 jars will not last me until September so I can't complain.Interesting that the package arrived direct from Walmart.com, no mention of Amazon on the packing list or anywhere. The seller (Infiltrade LLC) has a decent business plan that works with lazy people like me: He finds low priced items at Walmart, sells them for more on Amazon, buys them from Walmart.com and ships direct to me. I say good for him - middle men make our world go around - but it irks me a bit that I'm too lazy to find the best price myself.As an aside, I made up a recipe for Kraft Pimento Cheese Spread that is a close copycat to the original. Just look at the main ingredients on the jar: cream cheese, whey, sugar, salt, vinegar, pimentos. I don't keep whey around so I just mixed up the other stuff (minus the sugar) and I can hardly tell the difference. I use a 4 oz jar of chopped pimentos (drained) with 6-8 oz of softened cream cheese, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1+ Tbls white vinegar; throw it all in the mixer until it is well mixed and refrigerate for a day for the flavors to blend. It works for me.

I still prefer the old version with the neufchatel cheese but this version with cream cheese still takes me back. Try it on celery (I add drops of Tabasco but that's me!).My order was delivered ahead of time and the jars were securely wrapped. Unfortunately, the lid on one of the jars failed (I've never seen the top of a lid separate from the sides of the lid like this!) so the jar was unusable but the vendor has responded immediately saying that they would ship a replacement jar today.Definitely will purchase again!
