Cube computer is too easily messed up during solve.
While I am impressed by smart cubes, this is the second one in a row that I've bought that no longer works (from different buyers, it's the cube, but the sellers). Both failed within 2 weeks. The computer simply gets mixed up during the solves and thinks it's still mixed up even when it's solved.I have over 15k solves with the app, mostly with their earlier cube versions. Possibly I've gotten really unlucky two times in a row or maybe I was a little rough with the speed (im around 20s), but both new ones failed within about a thousand solves and slowly got worse. If you get one of their latest ones, solve it VERY softly and maybe you'll get better mileage with it. I'm going to try one more, but if it happens again, in switching to a different smart cube even though both of my mains are GAN....Edit: this problem has been fixed with GAN's newer smart cube the GAN i3. Updated to 5 stars for the newer cube, the old one was/is still bad. I have 50k solves with the app now and average around 17s.

Very nice product
Very nice product. Performs as advertised. But the apple latest version isn't as nifty as seen in the existing online videos about this particular model.

Don't waste your money on this cube.
Don't waste your money on this cube. Couldn't get it to fully charge. The cube lasted about a week. The same goes for the robot. Total junk!

I'm very impressed - this is amazing!
First off, Amazon was out of stock, so I ended up purchasing this from another vendor, but it's still amazing.I've been solving cubes since 1981. Apart from learning CFOP algorithms a couple years ago, this is the next big thing. Yes, it's impressive to watch the on-screen cube mimic what you're doing with the real cube, but the real value comes in 2 places, for learning anyway. I haven't done any competition matches with anyone. I really just want to get faster. I'm currently around the 30 second range, sometimes a bit less, sometimes more like 40.1) When you're doing timings, you can tell it that you want to scramble the cube yourself, have it tell you what moves to do to scramble it, or even start from a known state, like after the bottom cross is solved, or the 2nd or 3rd step in CFOP, for instance. (I use CFOP. It knows a few other techniques too) If I just want to practice PLL, for instance, I can have it tell (and show) me the moves to get to a starting point where I can just start at the PLL step. It doesn't matter what the current state of the cube is; just follow its turn by turn directions to get the the starting point. This is HUGE. For years, I've had to do the solve myself to get to that point, and when all I want to do is start at a certain point, that took way too much time. Not any more...the app tells me how to get there.2) The stats screen is amazing. I can see what percent of time I'm spending on each step, how many seconds that was, how many turns I did, my turns per second. I'm not sure what fluency index is, but the rest of the stats let me know where I need to practice. The cube itself is as fast as my other GAN (which was my favorite cube), and I don't notice any extra weight from the minimal electronics or the lights inside. I might as well be a kid at x-mas time right now because I'm incredibly happy with this "toy"...

Do not buy
We moved the tiles around before we got it synced with the app and were never able to solve the puzzle. Too complicated. Way overpriced.
