Crosscut Saw

Nice saw, fits the hand well and is well balanced, teeth are sharp and the saw is well made

I purchased this for a single purpose, to crosscut. Some folks like the double sided options that have rip and crosscut on the same blade, but I prefer a separate tool. Two things I would change is the winding around the handle seems inferior. I also hang my saws and the design does not include any means for that (easy shop fix, but trying to be real here).

This saw was dead sharp out of the box, and the cardboard sleeve that it comes in actually has a little snap that lets you re-cover the saw if you want to travel with it. While it's not a particularly expensive saw, it's nice to know that you can buy replacement blades if it ever dulls and you don't want to hand sharpen it.

Well made

I've had this saw for about 5 years. It finally became dull and had a few teeth missing. The saw blade can be replaced on the handle but, with the shipping container backup on the west coast, it seems the replacement saw blades are not currently available anywhere. But the whole saw is still available. I liked this saw so much I was willing to purchase a whole saw to get a replacement blade - it's that good.
