My mother has lived on this lake for many years and she's always loved it. When she passed, originally I was looking for the Chinese lanterns to light at her celebration of life but then came across these and decided to change my idea altogether and I'm so happy I did!!! They were very easy to pop up and get ready, they lit beautiful for awhile (I didn't time how long they stayed lit) and I don't think we could've had a better ending to her celebration. I would highly recommend these, especially if you are planning on doing a water type send off. I uploaded the video we took of it so anyone thinking about doing this, can see just how beautiful and touching it is. We lit up our lake behind her house that night, in my mother's memory and I think she was smiling down on us, at how beautiful it was also

After coming from a festival where I spent 32 dollars for a fancy one- they are great. Biodegradable is amazing. Anyone who complains about them sinking in a pool should buy pool products. 20 pieces and theu ar every bit worth the price for the quality and quantity. 1,000% recommend for single use beautiful use items.

These were an absolute wonderful piece to put mothers memorial!! Great quality and they would have burned a lot longer if we had let them. Paper was easily writable. Floating was amazing

These worked great! We used them for a girls camp activity and floated them on the lake. They worked well. I don’t know about the biodegradation, we collected them back up when we were done because we were in a campground. They looked so beautiful on the water.

The golden colored parts of these is very, very thick. I understand that this is what helps them hold up and float in the water, but when we went out to the river the following day they had eddied out along the river and it didn’t seem like they would ever biodegrade, so we had to go on a mission to recover them all to put them in the trash responsibly. Hundreds of these would be a nightmare for any waterway—unless you want to go around and retrieve them all after use.

We used these lanterns for a memorial. They were beautiful and gave us some peace that night. Please note they are not exactly biodegradable. We tried them out in our pool first, the candle holder and some of the paper did not dissolve. We fetched ours out of the lake after about 30 minutes with a kayak. It was a nice tribute, they are beautiful and long lasting.

It was terrible, per se. But it’s hard to tell because we did it at the beach and it was terribly windy. Also not sure how biodegradable it is based on how the material felt. All parts came included other than the lighter, of course.

Bought these for an event-worked excellent and everyone loved them. Highly recommend

Lighting a few of the lanterns, just as the sun was setting and thinking about my child was so beautiful I will be buying more because I didn’t want to use them all at one time we will be going out this weekend and light the rest. I wasn’t disappointed at all with this product, it was heartfelt

They are definitely not biodegradable!! That said, they are beautiful and made for a special event. (And a memorable one, as I had to hop in a canoe and fish them all out of the water...in the middle of the night)

I used these as a memorial to my son. They were beautiful. Lasted quite a while. Will order them again.
