useless with Skype on Win 7
worked fine with skype on XP! I just upgraded to Win 7 ultimate and the driver is found and installed automatically with plugging in the device, but the devices just doesn't work with Win 7. I'd recommend skipping this product.

No win 7 support
This items was awesome until it started crashing all sound devices when it was plugged in. Skype, Winamp, Windows itself, anything that played a sound would crash after using this speaker phone. There are comments that talk about getting this thing to work with windows 7 but they are for installing it only. Getting it installed is not a problem, keeping it running is. So now it is not used at all. Logitech needs to get off their butt and get some Win7 drivers for this because it is an awesome product and I would love to be able to actually use it.

Perfect Companion For Skype!
I work from home and spend most of my day "in the cloud" which usually means a lot of web conferences and being hooked up to a headset for more hours that I like. While researching headsets to replace my previous one, I stumbled across this Logitech USB speaker phone and thought I would give it a try, I mean it was only $10 bucks.Once it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by its size and quality of the product. It's about the size of an average paperback novel and the low profile means that I can pretty much place it anywhere on my desk without it overpowering my work space.Since I read the reviews prior to purchasing this product, I knew not to utilize the CDs that came with it, so I downloaded them directly from Logitech, did a restart and then plugged the device in and Voila - working speaker phone.I've used it for a few days now, with other Skype clients as well as cell phone and landline users and not one person has told me that they "couldn't hear me," which was a common complaint with my previous headset. The call quality is exceptional.Love the fact that I am "free" and not tied down to a headset and I don't feel like a total dork with something strapped around my head when using my webcam. Plus if I have more than one person in my office, everyone can hear the conversation and contribute to the call.I also like the fact that I have the option to plug a headset into this unit so as not to disturb anyone in the house when I am working late or when I wish to have a private conversation. The only drawback is my call and end buttons do not work with Skype, which I expected after reading some of the other reviews , (the mute button works perfectly) which is not a big deal for me since I usually have my Skype UI open in order to view the webcam feeds on my calls.Other than that, this is the BEST $20 bucks (I bought two) that I've spent for something in my office in a very long time.(SideNote: I would have given given this product 5 stars if my call and end buttons worked with Skype, but that's more of a software issue rather than a product issue.)

Nice voice quality for this price point
Everything worked right except the noise cancelling. I noticed the noise immediately when compared to other professional phone speakers priced at $100, knowing this is not a fair comparison. Perfect for home use. For conference call in office, you have to be more tolerate. Like the stylish design. Window XP immediately recognized this unit once I installed driver. Overall, it is still a good buy.

Excellent performance and value.
I bought one of these like a year ago for my video conferences at the office, essentially, because I've had good experiences with Logitech periferals before. A month later, everyone at the office wanted to borrow it, so I told them that I'd buy a few more for them; but our local electronics store didn't have any and they wouldn't bring more, so I found these at Amazon and bought 10 units. The unit is very small, it needs no drivers in Windows XP / Vista / 7 or in Mac OS X, the speaker is loud enough for ten people sitting on a meeting table, the mic is sensible enough so we don't have to move it closer to the guy that's speaking, it's voice activated and it won't cast a background noise that's not a human voice, and is much cheaper than other high quality branded conference mics. After several month of heavy use, including a few drops, I can say that all units are still working perfectly.Excellent performance and quality for the price.

I like things that work out of the box.
Noise cancellation & echo reduction did not work, which makes this nothing but a microphone with a mediocre speaker. There was a time when I did not mind spending half the day or more trying to get something to work, but not anymore. I spent a good hour and a half to two hours on this one, and then threw it in the trash.None of the buttons worked with Skype either. For some reason they just launched Trillian Astra which is not mentioned anywhere in the setup.

Compatibility
After I received the unit, I found it is not compatible with Windows 10. I now have a boat anchor.
