Worst antenna ever.
I used to use francis antennas all the time, but I will never buy another one. If the antenna had been tuned at the factory to be 2.5 SWRs I would keep it and use it. This antenna is tuned at 2.8 and then in the middle of the day it hits 3.0. Tunable antennas for me from here on.

Not unbreakable but close.
These are tough. Missouri doesn't trim trees along the highways any more they just let the trucks hit them and beat them back. Ran Wilson K-40 for years got tired of the limbs literally yanking the whip out of the coil base. You can hit a lot of limbs with these until they finally snap. Running with springs now so have my fingers crossed.
