Alba Chem PSR Powdered Dry Cleaning Fluid 12.5 oz

This is an excellent dry cleaning spray for removing grease and oil stains from clothing and fabrics. It’s very easy to use, works quickly, and leaves the fabric looking clean without any noticeable residue when used as directed. I’ve had great results on stubborn oily spots that regular detergents couldn’t remove. This is one of those products that every household should keep on hand. Highly recommended!

I was genuinely impressed with how easy the Alba Chem PSR Powdered Dry Cleaning Fluid was to use. The application process was simple and straightforward, and it started working almost instantaneously on tough stains that I thought would be difficult to remove. I used it on several fabric items with different types of stains, and in most cases the stains lifted very quickly after the first use. There were a few tougher spots where I needed to apply a second treatment, but even then the results were excellent. It cleaned the fabric without leaving any residue behind and helped restore the material without damage. Overall, this product is highly effective, fast-acting, and definitely worth having on hand for stubborn fabric stains.

Followed directions on the back of can: spray, dry, brush away. Easy. It worked on multiple oil/grease stains on shirts and pants including cotton, polyester, and poly-spandex blend. No noticeable odor, no residue after following product directions. Was similar to using aerosol spray starch.

This is amazing. I was doubtful it would work but decided to given it a chance. There is no stain that this can’t remove. My kids had washed in stains but this got them out, not just new stains. It lasts a while.

This product does work however, you can’t expect it to take deep set stains out of your fabric. Any stain that has been set by water will not come out with this product. It will work if you’re just cleaning something that is surface, dusty, or dirty. Lastly Always clean out your vacuum cleaner after using this product. I used two different vacuum cleaners when removing this product from my Roman blinds and found I had to clean out the vacuum cleaner. Otherwise you will lose all suction.

This is voodoo! I saw it on instagram and thought - well, I do have shirts that look like I can't feed myself. The stains from the foods would wash out but the oil blotches remained and nothing I did would make it go away. I followed the directions and used my shop air compressor to blow it off like I saw in the instagram. Then I washed the clothing. The oil blotch was gone off my shirt. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I had no idea it would actually work just like I saw on social media.

I used this on 3 couches. 2 look better; 1 looks worse. It worked best on the microsuede couch (the blue one in the pictures.). That couch now looks great. Although it was the least stained to start with. The worst part was the couch arm, where people had rested their hand/arm for years. The discoloration from the oils in skin is now completely gone. So I would be 100% satisfied with the results on this. The green one is an outdoor couch, and I let the grandkids eat on that one, so it had a lot of stains. It looks WAY better, although the stains are definitely not all gone. Some of them are gone and others are just less noticeable. I should probably note that this couch was previously Scotchguarded, so that probably helped. So I’d be 80% satisfied with the performance on this one. Unfortunately, on the orange one, the only stain that was there is actually much worse. It wasn’t nearly as pronounced before the treatment as it is after. So I’m going to have to take this to the dry cleaner to see if they can fix it. I hope it didn’t permanently make it worse. Fortunately, this cover is removable, so relatively easy to take to dry cleaner. I’ll update later to report on whether it’s fixable at the dry cleaner. A couple things to note; it takes A LOT of violent scrubbing with a brush for this to work. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of effort. I’ve been at it for more than 2.5 hours. I scrub, scrub, scrub til I’m exhausted and have to take a break, then go back at it. I’m serious that it takes a tremendous amount of effort to make it work. Even on the couch that was the least stained, I scrubbed and scrubbed. I finally resorted to a suede brush, which has wire bristles (but pretty soft wire bristles). That made it go a little easier. But, on the 2 couches that aren’t suede, it raised a lot of nap, so now instead of stains, there are fabric pills. But for me, that’s still better than stains. Also, everything in the vicinity, including you, will be covered with powder when you’re done. So be prepared to dust and vacuum everything as soon as you finish. And, even as hard as I scrubbed, it’s clear I didn’t get all the powder out. I’m sure we’ll all be brushing powder off our butts for weeks to come. So don’t do this the day before you have company coming, unless you want them all to have white butts. So, my overall rating is 3. 5 for the blue microsuede couch; 3-4 for the green outdoor (previously Scotchguarded) couch, and 0 for the orange couch, which got worse. And it’s a lot of work, a lot of cleanup after, and residue hanging around for a while.
