​If you’ve tried running a standard copper HDMI cable over 5 metres for a PS5, Xbox Series X, or an RTX 40-series PC, you know the nightmare: signal dropouts, "sparkles" on the screen, or the dreaded "No Signal" message. After wasting money on "Premium" copper cables that couldn't handle the 48Gbps bandwidth, I bit the bullet on this RUIPRO Fiber Optic 15m version. It is worth every penny.​Performance: The 48Gbps Acid Test​I ran this from a PC in my office through the ceiling to an LG OLED in the lounge.​The Results: It handles 4K@120Hz with HDR10+ and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) perfectly. I’ve had zero flickering or black screens, which is common with cheaper cables at this length.​eARC Support: Plugged into my Sonos ARC, it passes Dolby Atmos (TrueHD) without any sync issues or lag.​Latency: Since it uses light (Fiber) rather than electricity (Copper) for the data, there is effectively zero lag. For competitive gaming, it feels identical to a 1m cable.​Build & Installation (Crucial Note!)​The cable is surprisingly thin and flexible—much easier to snake through conduit than the thick, stiff "braided" copper cables.​⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is a directional cable. One end is marked "Source" (goes into your PC/Console) and the other is marked "Display" (goes into your TV/Projector). If you pull 15 metres of cable through a wall backwards, it will not work. Check the labels twice!​Why Fiber?​At 15 metres, copper cables suffer from massive signal degradation. Fiber optic converts the electrical signal to light, meaning you get the exact same bit-perfect quality at 15m as you would at 1m. It’s also immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), so you can run it near power cables without getting screen noise.​Final Verdict​Pros: Guaranteed 48Gbps at long lengths; incredibly thin and easy to hide; full support for HDMI 2.1 features (VRR, ALLM, eARC).​Cons: Expensive compared to copper; directional (don't plug it in backwards!).​It’s an "install and forget" bit of kit. If you are setting up a high-end home theatre or a long-distance gaming rig, don't risk a cheaper cable

I needed to run a cable from gaming pc to my tv and found out for my lg oled g5 and my pc with a 4090 graphics card to get the maximum fps to the tv 120mhz 10 metres away I needed an hdmi lead that can handle the distance 48gbs speed 4k 120hz this worked perfectly and because it’s fibre optic I was worried about bending it around corners but this is quite flexible unlike some the cheaper cables out there I’m so glad I bought this instead of some inferior 1sDo your self a favour you will only Probly ever need this 1 cable so spend a bit more and get thisIn tested out thoroughly I get 48gb speed and get the full 120hz my tv is capable of in 4k it doesn’t get screen flicker no screen tearing no black screens it’s flawless

I purchased this cable having considered cables costing a lot more money, I wanted to offer the best picture quality from my Oppo UDP-205 Blu ray player connected to my new LG C3 series OLED, I already had the player connected with a 1 MTR Wireworld Sphere cable to my Sennheiser Ambio sound bar then with a 2mtr Wireworld sphere cable to the OLED, as the Oppo supports 2 HDMI outputs, one fir just Audio and the other being the main for Audio and Video I wanted to separate the signals to eliminate any possibility of crosstalk, connecting the Oppo with the Wireworld cable on the Audio out to the Soundbar and using the Ruipro cable directly to the OLED.I first used the Wireworld cable directly to the OLED to evaluate the picture quality direct, then changed out to the Ruipro cable, I could immediately notice more / better contrast being able to see further into darker scenes, and with brighter scenes looking less blown out thereby rendering more detail, the colours also looked richer and more saturated without affecting skin tones, I couldn’t notice any difference in sharpness but the Wireworld cable was not lacking in the sharpness department.To sum up this cable was a gamble as I would normally spend a lot of money on cables, I was considering the Chord company fiber HDMI cable costing £250 but though this was worth the gamble, from the videos I have watched recommending this cable which cost just £53 in a 2mtr length that I needed, it is actually half the price of the Wireworld copper cable that I currently have and at half the price it has comfortably outperformed the Wireworld cable, to be clear the Wireworld cable is also an HDMI 2.1 specification cable so we are comparing Apples for Apples, the gamble certainly paid off, I have seen videos where people believe it is expensive but for the performance on offer I think this is the best value performance HDMI cable on the market today, amazing cable that I would have no problem recommending to anyone wanting to extract the best from high end equipment.

After doing a lot of research, I've decided to buy this cable to connect my laptop to the TV for gaming. My laptop is a Zephyrus G14 2023 with an RTX 4090, while my TV is a Philips OLED 910 65''. I was worried that the connection might not be stable over 3 meters, at 144Hz refresh rate + HDR + 4K, so I went for a fiber optic cable.I've been using the cable for 3 months and so far everything has been working well. I never had any issue with frame rate or HDR or audio. Everything works as expected.The cable is connected directly from the laptop to the TV without any additional adapters, then I use a wireless controller to game. I had tried to use a Cable Matters angled HDMI adapted on the TV side to see if it was easier to connect the cable, but I wasn't getting the expected frame rate on the TV, as the HDMI had started operating at a lower bandwidth. In the end, I didn't need the adapter and I was able to connect the RUIPRO cable directly to the TV without issues. This Philips TV has a tight space on the back for the HDMI cables, but this RUIPRO isn't as stiff and thick as other non-fiber HDMI cables, so I could connect it directly without adapters.

Does not work at all

Ordered to replace a cable that only worked for a few hours before developing issues. As this was about 3-4x the price, I had hoped it would be a painless experience.Alas, when it arrived, I got everything connected, switched on, and.... nothing! There was absolutely nothing, no sound or picture when connecting my Yamaha receiver to my Sony projector.Hoping it might just be something minor, I tried the cable with a different source playing to a TV, resulting in no issue. Next trial, a Virgin Media box to TV, again fine. Next trying to connect it to the projector, again fine. So, finally, I retried the original receiver to projector set-up, and finally success! Or so I thought. All seemed fine, so I watched a film, then went to bed.The next day, I wanted to watch a film, so switched on everything, as I had before, and... yet again, nothing! Over and over and.over again, I kept switching things on and off, trying different ports, etc... Eventually, after about 30 minutes, things finally came to life once more.To say that the ownership experience, over the two days of ownership, has been massively frustrating and a disappointment would be putting it politely.I sincerely hope that the company reach out to help me ASAP, as it would be a.shame.to have.to return yet another HDMI Cable.Edit / Update:Having had trouble with the first cable, and reaching out to Ruipro, customer service contacted me within 24hrs to offer advice and a replacement cable, this time their non-certified green version.The replacement arrived within a couple of days, so kudos to Ruipro for being true to their word.Once the replacement came, I quickly connected everything together and powered up the AV system. At first, there was what seemed to be an intermittent issue, with the signal dropping and coming back. However, after changing the output settings on the Yamaha receiver to only output on the HDMI feed to the projector, rather than on both outputs, everything settled down and worked perfectly!Of course, after the first cable's issues, I did further tests, turning things on and off, trying it again the following day, etc... and I'm pleased to report that it was still working fine.The cable comes well packaged, and is so much more flexible than other HDMI cables that I've used previously, which makes running it along the wall, tucked into the picture rail, an easy job.As for the picture quality achieved, it has been stunning. Using a Sony VPL-HW 40ES, Yamaha RX A3070, and Oppo BDP 103, the cable provides detailed, cinematic images, with good colour and detail.Conclusion: Ruipro really do live up to their promise of looking after their customers. There was no faffing about, trying to squirm out of sending a replacement, no demands that the faulty cable be returned first, they just got on with doing their very best to rectify things and make the customer happy. They were extremely responsive to messages and gave advice when asked. I don’t often recommend companies, and always take comments about excellent service with a healthy dose of cynicism, however, I am very pleased to say that in my experience, Ruipro really do live up to their reputation for excellent service and good products at a reasonable price. Yes, maybe QC could do with improvement, but, then again, HDMI cables are well known for not necessarily being straightforward and easy to use, so on balance it can maybe be excused. Well done Ruipro, I wouldn't hesitate to use your products again and highly recommend you as a company with whom to deal.

Officially certified cable. No problems at all at 10 metres, using a LG C series OLED and a RTX 4070 Super. 4K at 120hz. and GSync. Great build quality. 👍🏻

Utilisé entre un pc Rtx4070 et un LG g3 65p ( câble de 12 mètres dans mon cas ) fonctionne parfaitement . Le seul câble qui m’a permit d’avoir sur une longueur non négligeable et la 4K 120hz HDR. Câble de qualité.Juste faire attention qu’il y a un côté émetteur ( pc ou autre ) et un côté Tv ou écran. Bref, un excellent achat. À voir dans les temps !

I made this cable upgrade mainly anticipating needing to drive a new upgrade 4K UHD laser projector cleanly at 60Hz or faster. I need to handle all the high bandwidth formats like Atmos, DTS:X, HDR+ and HLG trouble-free.But as a huge immediate benefit it has apparently solved a persistent problem I have been having with my existing 9-year old Optoma UHD60 projector: frequent random video blackouts. I have been driving this older 4K projector at 4K60Hz and for the most part that's been fine as its within spec. But at least 2-3 times per hour the screen would go black and resync annoyingly. That has completely vanished since installing this 8K fiber cable. Hooray!This cable is very flexible and I had no trouble inserting it into a flexible cable management hose I have been using to eliminate cable clutter. It has quite compact HDMI connector shells that plug in confidently.So this has been well worth the expense and time spent installing. I recommend it.

Pas de latence ni de perte de qualité vidéo.Fonctionne trop bien pour l'utilisation que j'en fais, a voir pour de la vidéo a plus haute résolution/plus haute fréquence.N'oubliez pas, il y a un sens pour ces types de câbles.
