do you use the #8srb die for a#6 barrier crimp

The purple #8 reduced barrier is the same as #6 standard barrier.

where do get the ferrels to crimp? Am i calling them somthing wrong in search? ferrell? Crimp? sheath? Fitting?

We call them fittings,most part stores sale them for AC and fuel, our shop does AC and this tool fits in those tight places

Discription has errors. I need a set that includes die for #6 hose, not just reduced barrier #6. One discription & contents say yes, one not????????

Will this work on standard Hydraulic hoses with hydraulic fittings?

You have different size hoses and fittings, but when they are installed they are the same crimp as a hydraulic hose. If they will hold a vacuum and freon they will hold hydraulic pressure. Crimped one on a small tractor and it has held for over a year now.

Was installing classic auto air in my 79 Chevrolet K 20 had the lines crimp my local shop got them home it leaked I bought this one and it worked great. The guy at the local shop had one that you had to turn in manually with a bolt to crush the sleeves. He was afraid to over tighten so it caused the lines to not seal. I just re tightened the ones he did, got two new fittings to make one new line, there was really no thought to it I pumped the hydraulics with one hand until I couldn’t and it worked great!!! Perfect crimp every time
