I've tried Arm and Hammer cat litter in the past. To be honest, I was totally unimpressed with its performance. I've seen the Slide advertised for the past few years. After buying new automatic litters, I decided to try it. I'm totally blown away. There's no odor, and I mean none. The litter bonds together into tight clumps that are easily cleaned by the auto litter. I have 6 cats. One balks at using a litter once it's been used, even after cleaning. Arm and Hammer Slide has solved the problem completely. The litter is very fine, like sugar sand. So far it's not sticking to the liner in the automatic box at all, like the old litter used to. It's a premium litter, and frankly, a little pricier than other comparable litters. But, all 6 cats like it, there's no odor, and it works great with the automatic litter boxes. That's all I need.

I've had cats since I was a kid and bar none, this is the holy grail of litter. I cannot thank A&H enough for making this product because it's everything I ever hoped for. Scooping has always been an exhausting job with having to scrape and push the clumped urine against the bottom of the tray only for it to all fall apart and for half of it to stick anyway. But with the Clump & Seal Slide, all that frustration is a thing of the past. It stays clumped and, probably most importantly, it doesn't gunk up your scoop. And the tracking? There's nary a bit in sight. I used to have to wear flip flops to get near the litter box despite having two mats in front of it since I despise the feel of standing on litter but this is fine enough (but not too fine) so it barely tracks and what little there is, doesn't feel uncomfortable under bare feet. My nearly 20yo cat is a Picky McPickerson so, as much as I would love an automatic litter box and/or a more environmentally-friendly litter, he's refused anything too out of the ordinary. Instead, this is the perfect balance - superbly innovative while still staying true to a conventional type of litter. I also love that it's in a cardboard box to avoid more single-use plastic, and although it's not lightweight, buying it here means I don't have to lug it from the store. It does have a somewhat perfumed scent which isn't bad, just there. However, with the baking soda in it, it does feel like it's actually absorbing the urine scent rather than just masking it. I wish I could give the developers of this litter the Meowbel Prize because yes, it's that life-changing.

I’ve tried quite a few cat litters over the years with two cats, and this has easily been one of the best overall combinations of odor control, clumping performance, and value for the money that I’ve found. The biggest thing for me is how well it controls smell. Even with two cats using the same litter box, it does a great job keeping odors contained between cleanings. I usually fully empty and refresh the litter box 1–2 times per week, and it still holds up surprisingly well throughout the week. I also pair it with the Arm & Hammer litter deodorizer, and together they work extremely well. The clumping is another standout feature. The clumps stay together when scooping instead of breaking apart and turning the whole box into dusty crumbs like some cheaper litters do. That makes cleaning much easier and helps the litter last longer overall. I also appreciate that it’s relatively low dust compared to many other litters I’ve used. There’s still a little dust when pouring a fresh box in, but nowhere near as bad as some bargain brands that leave powder everywhere. For the price, I think this is one of the better values out there, especially for multi-cat households. It lasts a decent amount of time, performs consistently, and saves me from constantly fighting odors or weak clumps.

I was very impressed when I first tried this litter. Odor control and clumping were both excellent, which is why I decided to subscribe for regular deliveries. However, I noticed a quality inconsistency. The litter I originally received was gray and performed very well, but one shipment arrived with yellow-colored litter instead. The yellow version was noticeably worse in several ways, especially when it came to clumping. I hope the manufacturer can improve quality control and ensure consistent product quality across batches.

My cat loves this! No mess, no spill overs. Easily scoops out. This is great quality and your back will thank you. Scent is nice but it is a little pricey.

Very easy to use. Creates solid big clumps. Pretty good on the odor control. The pictures I've posted contain a mix of A&H and Fresh Step. A&H litter is brown looking while Fresh Step looks like small pebbles. I switch between this and Fresh Step Multicat Febreze litter. There are some minor differences that set each product apart and will depend on what you care more about. Also note, the Amazon version of this product appears to be different from the store version. However, I have not noticed a difference. Amazon version claims that it controls odors for 14 days and the store version is 7 days. I use this with Popur X5 Self-Cleaning Litter Box. Tracking is always a major concern of mine as I have an automatic litter box, but litter will always spill out from time to time. This litter doesn't track much. However, because it's lighter (or thinner) than Fresh Step's litter, it can be kicked out of the litter box pretty easily if you don't have a high fence. Luckily, I've only noticed the tracking around the box itself. It doesn't cling to my cats' paws and doesn't travel too far. Main purpose of this litter is to clump, which it does nicely. I've noticed nice, big clumps with these and have had little complaints with this in my automatic litter box. Of course, small pieces will break off from time to time but nothing major. I've found this pretty comparable to the Fresh Step litter. Both work nicely. This litter has a nice scent that is not overpowering. However, it does keep mask the bad odor pretty well. I'd recommend this to people who have smaller spaces and don't want the scent of the litter to fill the entire room. Fresh Step febreze has a much stronger scent. It seems to mask the bad odors better but from the moment you pour the litter, the scent could be overpowering to your nose. Dust has not been an issue with this, which is surprising. Even though the litter is really thin (pretty much looks like sand), it does not cloud up when you pour it out of the box. Fresh Step febreze, on the other hand, most definitely will. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this. I switch between this and Fresh Step depending on when whichever one happens to be cheaper.

With no exaggeration this is the best litter for you cat. It was left in our motorhome for a month (forgot) and the delicate scent was there after two months of use whilst away with our cat. No waste, as the small granules stick to the .... thus your scoop collects only the wet or dry remnants. One box has lasted over 6 months. Don't hesitate because of the cost. Get it and try it.

Literally the best brand I have ever tried and this one is even the best version I have tried from this brand. It does not dust at all and the consistency is also slightly different, it feels somewhere around soft sand and litter. It clumps SO VERY well and clean up is so easy and oddly satisfying. Will continue purchasing.

This litter is not the cheapest but it clumps well, masks odor and best of all doesn't stick to the litter pan ...cause it Slides
