I gave this product a 5 star rating to tell you to read the one star ratings. They are all true. This device is worthless and will not allow you to write and then read the 1000 gig of data. For some reason you can only access around 64 gig. They take 10 to 15 minutes to format and i have tried all available options to format. I bought about 6 of these cheap drives before i discovered they are flawed. The 5 star ratings must be fake or paid for. The drive seems as though its writing the date (very very slow),, but when you return to read it you can’t. If you really want one of theses, i will sell you mine for $5.00. Good Luck and beware, beware, beware.

1 TB Flash Drive - Sounded great, price was great. Slow transfer speed though.Kept getting slower. Loading files onto the drive and retrieving them, VERY SLOW.After 8 months - it just quit!!Tried to format it again, didn't help. Now my computer thinks it is a DVD player, not a flash drive.Won't let me format it. Junk.Tried it on 3 computers, Windows 11 and Windows 10, still not working.

This is a really exceptional deal, and it works super fast as described!

Sleek, small, and easy to use. I was nervous that it said 1000gb instead of 1tb but it works amazing. I was able to clear an old laptop hard drive onto it so i wouldn't lose pictures and documents. Everything saved perfectly and quickly. Data easily accessed.

If you buy this thumb drive, you are going to be buying it for the value: 1 TB for $15 is a terrific value! But people put important data on these things, and a thumb drive's cover is its primary protection against damage. Alas, the swing-around cover on these units is not well-thought-out. My (smaller) Kingston drives have a slide-down cover that clicks into place. This unit's cover does not lock in place—if you were to put it in your pocket, the chances are high that the cover would be pushed aside, exposing the vulnerable USB connector. For that reason only, I knocked off a star from what would otherwise have been a rave review. Heck, I'd pay another buck, even two for the same unit with a better-designed cover. (Manufacturer, take note!)

There Terabyte thumb drive comes in a little plastic box which I didn't expect. So that's nice. NIce looking design. All is good.

Review Entry 001So I bought the USB and I was very happy with it, it had almost 1tb (997 or something like that) and it was allowing me to move all my art and some games onto there. AS SOON AS I HIT 30 GB USED, its stopped working. I checked disk management device manager even used MiniTool Partition Wizard to see if it needed a third party source to fix it, nothing happened. All my art, my commissions, avatars i was working on in blender, unity projects, all of that is now gone.In device manager, i located the usb, uninstalled it, checked for new properties, updated drives, nothing happened. went to disk management, theres nothing there. no primary partition, no unallocated. i had my friend come and help me at this point and he had my download minitool to try and fix it, it wasnt even showing up!all my artwork is gone, i have to refund my customers, my boyfriend’s birthday present is gone (we both play vrchat and i was editing his favourite avatar), even some of the games i had downloaded, i have to redownload on my pc after moving them to the drive!absolutely NOT WORTH THE MONEY. you get what you pay for so i will be buying a new one and never buying from this company again. 0 stars if i could.

While most people complain about its slowness, I will not because you get exactly what you pay for. It's worked well so far (bought it a few weeks ago.) Anyways, I was using it on my laptop one night when I sat down and accidentally pushed it off the arm and on to the floor, crushing the USB. I thought I'd lost it all. Just to at least try to fix it, I bent it back in shape, put the plastic case back together, and put tne metal doo-hicky back on. It still works.
