Huge hit for the holidays
I picked up this Polar Express set for my nephew and we had a great time putting it together under the tree. The wood feels solid and much nicer than those cheap plastic versions, plus the magnets are strong enough that the cars don't constantly uncouple when he's pulling them around the track. I did notice that the paint on the edges started to chip a tiny bit after he crashed them into each other a few times, but honestly it just gives it that well loved look. It’s a good gift for any kid who loves the movie and it was nice to see him playing with something that didn't involve a screen for once.

Fun hand coordination for children to assemble and play with
A two-year-old’s first train set. Parents should be aware that they use magnets for coupling the cars together. Most manufacturers have the magnets firmly attached but if one should break off, don’t let a little kid put it in their mouth. If a kid swallows two magnets or something else that is iron, it can pinch their intestines. I warned the grandpa of the little kid just to be careful of that but they’re having a ball with it.

The perfect gift
The train may be small track wise, but it is so worth it. I have it on my table as a centerpiece that is how cute it is. I’m not big on centerpieces at all because they just take up too much room and this is the perfect centerpiece size for the 18 people that I’m gonna be having at my table. My grandson loves it can’t stop playing with it. It is a perfect gift. I am buying more because of that.

Great everyday toy
