Replacement spare part Rods Pop-Up popup Waste link lever pull push plug joint

I was a little skeptical, due to the lack of dimensions in the description but the little kit worked well and I had my plug functioning again in under 15 minutes. The rods connect together and the extension piece fit my original rod so that was a bonus. All I needed was a screwdriver and a couple of paracetamol for the few inevitable head bashes.

It's one of those rod's that come in two part's, when joined together it was bent on a angle, and the joining threaded part was to short, so would fall apart whilst in use, and you would be everlasting fumbling about at the back of the sink trying to connect the two rod's back together. I would definitely not recommend this item.

The rod would not fit because the tap assembly did not align up with the hole on the porcelain.I slackened off the 11mm nut and no problem.Then I re-tightened the nut and the rod was pinched again.Tip 1. Use a second tube spanner on the one that fits to make access easier.Tip 2. Use brute force to hold the tap assembly in place while you tighten the nutTip 3. Tighten the nut just enough. No more or the tap assembly slips back, and we are talking fractions of a mm here!

Ordered Friday (normal post) arrived Monday morning.I replaced the lifting arm (ball joint diameter 13mm) and seal on the screw cap.I've kept the rest of the kit as spares, as the other parts don't need changing yet.Everything is of high quality and service was faultless.

Ours broke at the plug end. Was going to get a new tap but when I noticed you could buy a replacement pusher rod set I want for it. Didn't need all of it. just the ball end and multi joint. Worked really well. Quick delivery. Thanks

This was easy to install. Replaced a rusty rod. I’m female, so it can’t be difficult!

Seems good quality and easy to fit, but the ball was the wrong size.
