SYLVANIA 2721 Long Life Miniature Bulb, (Contains 2 Bulbs)

These bulbs worked fine as replacements for the burned-out backlights on my climate control panel (temperature/fan speed/air recycle/vent selection dials on the center console). I have a 2012 US Fiat 500c but gather from forums these will work in other models/years too. Takes about 15 minutes to install all told. For reasons described below I wound up needing to order a second set of the bulbs and found another seller (HELLA) with faster shipping for a similar price, though, so maybe check around. Installation protips: 1) turn all the dials completely to the left or right before starting so you don't lose the dial position alignment 2) the panel cover with the dials just pries off but took more force than I expected, a padded screwdriver helps (panel snaps back on easily after) 3) use tweezers/pliers and pull straight out on the old lights, don't try to squeeze the plastic tabs next to them (light gray in my black car; one tab broke when I tried and I had to kinda wedge the light housing in place with a pebble, oops) 4) keep a good grip on the replacement light with tweezers/pliers when pushing into place, I wound up dropping one into the lower part of the center console and had to order a second set (also oops) 5) it's a good idea to replace both when one burns out so the second doesn't burn out after you've reassembled everything

I used in my Jeep Wrangler and I laughed at easy to install. I had to take the top off my jeep and put a 2x4 with a ratchet belt to get the gear shift nob to pop off to remove the center counsel to get to the area where you replace the bulb. Which worked like a charm without getting yourself knocked out doing it but easy would not be how I would describe it. After all that, I dropped the first bulb into the recesses of my jeep, never to be seen again so good thing there were two. It worked as advertised and hopefully I never need to replace it again.

Exactly what I needed to fix the shifter light bulb in my 2005 Tacoma. I was worried it would not be orange like the OEM, however, with the cover on, you can not tell a difference in bulb with or without the orange translucent cover (at least I can’t tell or maybe I don’t remember what it used to look like BUT this bulb works if you don’t care about the orange tint). Good price, it’s sylvania so it should last a long time and it is bright. Thanks

I ordered and used these bulbs, they started blinking out after a couple months but I think I have a bad light socket.

Perfect fit for my 2014 Jeep JK Wrangler Sport

My dash light went out in my 2013 fiat abarth 500c. Those old bulbs said 12v 1.4w. This was the closest I could find. The price was great. Installation took less than a minute. I just paid over $600 for a 30K service and didn't really want the dealer to overcharge me to replace a bulb that takes less than a minute to DIY. I hate to know what they would have charged to do the work themselves. Not sure what other vehicles this works on but for me it felt really satisfying to DIY
