No. They are not. Just like Ball brand are not always BPA free. I believe it is only in the colored rim area and it’s only an issue if it comes into direct contact with the food or liquid inside.

Will the canning lids warp if they boil?

None of the ones I have used warped, they work very well!

No safety button, not sure of the stainless steel.
