Men's Long-Sleeve Polar Fleece Shirt Jacket for Winter, Jackets

I bought one of these and my initial reaction was that it wasn’t quite my style. I already have a bunch of fleece jackets, some pull overs, and this one just seemed a little less sexy than most of the others that I have. So I gave this to my wife, and she wore it once or twice, but it was too big for her. One day for no particular reason I started wearing this again and I noticed after a day or two that it was extremely comfortable. It’s nice that you can button it up when you’re cold and unbutton it as it gets warmer. The side pockets are really hefty and you can stick your phone in there and other stuff. The “build quality “ on this is impressive. The material is just the right thickness. It’s a little too heavy to be called a shirt, I would call it a light jacket. I wear it mostly indoors, this would not be warm enough on a cold Colorado day outside. You could maybe run to get the mail but that’s about it. Anyway, I fell in love with it and I’ve basically worn it consistently during the winter of 22/23. It dawned on me the other day that I like this so much , that I really should buy another. Amazon was still selling them, and the price was so incredible, I went ahead and bought one in several different colors. So I think I have a total of six of these now. For the price these just can’t be beat. I’m 6‘4“and about 240 pounds and the double XL fits nicely. It doesn’t go really far below the belt level on me, but it goes far enough. I suspect your experience will be similar to mine, and you’ll find yourself wearing this all winter long.

This is the shirt I have been trying to find for years! It's a heavy, warm shirt for cold Florida days. My apt. doesn't have heat, it doesn't get that cold in Florida but when it does dip down to the 40s It's nice to have a comfortable, warm shirt to walk around the house in. I was a little concerned about the size but a large fits me comfortably and I'm 6'1" & 180 lbs.. After getting the shirt I was so pleased with it and the price I went ahead and ordered another one.

I purchased the light gray Amazon Essentials Men's Long-Sleeve Polar Fleece shirt/jacket in size medium and have worn it as a jacket several times since 12/24/23. I 'm a 138 lb., 5' & 1.5” tall, 38C bra female with slender arms and excess stomach weight. Obviously, this masculine shirt/jacket is long on me (comes just to the bottom of my seat when unbuttoned) and has arms that are too wide for me, but I like it anyway. In chilly days in the South, it provides good warmth as a jacket. Made in Vietnam, it's clearly a quality garment, with neat stitching, buttonholes that line up perfectly with the buttons, a wider collar that can be positioned upward, inside pockets that are 9.5 inches deep and 5.5 inches wide, and firmer outside pockets (which functionally are not as deep because of the angle of the opening). This soft fleece shirt/jacket is comfortable. The buttonholes are a little tight, but that is better than buttons being too loose to remain fastened. There is a spare button adhered to the inside left tag. This shirt/jacket has more of a straight cut which means that someone with a large belly would probably need to size up if planning to wear it buttoned. Of100% polyester, this shirt/jacket has a side tag indicating the garment should not be dry cleaned, but can be machine washed inside-out, using cold water and a gentle cycle, and machine-dried on a gentle cycle. After washing I plan to put it in the dryer for just a few minutes, and then hang to dry, as I do with most of my clothes. An update will be provided if any problems occur after washing it. I’d previously bought this shirt/jacket in dark green as a gift, but after seeing its quality, purchased the light gray for myself. The dark green color is similar to, but actually lighter than the illustration. The illustration for the light gray shirt/jacket, however, is representative of its actual color. I like the jacket so much that I just purchased a 3rd one in the indigo blue heather color. It is reported to be darker than the light blue denim color illustration. This Amazon Essentials garment is well-made and is a good value. 02/12/24 Update: Subsequently purchased a shirt/jacket in Medium in blue heather. The lower stomach area is narrower than that of both the green and light grey ones. The label was checked but reflected medium- the same size as the 2 previously purchased. Whether just an anomaly for this particular jacket or all are smaller in blue heather isn't known. I can't close the bottom 2 buttons on this one but can on both the green and the light gray, both of which fall straight (no gap) after having been buttoned. Due to sizing inconsistency, I've changed my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

These things are amazing! So first to the sizing stats: I'm 6'1" 185lb, what I would call skinny-fat (thin everywhere but constantly bloated looking in belly and chest, I blame the beer) and depending on brand and style of fit am usually between a medium and large. Most things Amazon brand I order medium, but modern day cuts I seem to be trending towards large in more than not now. Anyway, there weren't much for details as to fit so I went on the safe side and got a large. Figured it's purpose of an outer layer suits a roomy fit for layering and while I was right, I was also wrong, because this thing doesn't need much else for layers. It's super thick, supple and soft fleece is so warm. A long sleeve T is all I need under this thing in our NW winters, which admittedly aren't too harsh. Anyway, I cannot recommend this strongly enough. The length is just right, below the hips so when you bend over it doesn't ride up exposing the back, but not below the butt being too long and awkward looking as to require adjustment when you sit down. I'll be investing in more, you should as well. Also, lastly, always pop the collar! The only negative I could find would be to say it needs a way to buckle the collar ends together to keep it standing and secure a seal around the neck. I'll be fashioning and affixing one to it myself.

I was lucky enough to buy this shirt when it was on sale ($16ish), and I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I'd never bought any Amazon essentials products or clothing so I took a chance. It's ended up occasionally beating some of my favorite hoodies/jackets when I'm running out of the house. This shirt was exactly what I was looking to wear for those "in-between" weather days of fall and spring. It's soft, warm, and holds up well against a cool breeze. It's easily unbuttoned if you find yourself getting warmer. The material is a microfiber fleece (don't quote me on that) that is very similar to those North Face jackets. It's got the right amount of thickness to stand alone as a shirt jacket or as a layering piece for even colder weather. It's also not high maintenance in terms of laundry settings and the like. If I had any gripes, it's that the cuff buttons tend to unbutton themselves easily at times. The material is also a magnet for sawdust, grass, and things like that if you're working outdoors. I bought mine in solid black so these things stick out like a sore thumb. Keep a lint roller handy if this is a pet peeve of yours. Not a deal-breaker for me in any event. I hope they make more varieties and colors. It's cheap, durable, does the job, one of my favorite purchases on this site. I highly recommend it.

This is probably one of the best jackets I’ve ever bought. I bought a medium. I am 5’8 170 pounds. It fits perfectly doesn’t go too far past my waist and doesn’t go too far past my arms very soft. I will 100% be buying this again.

Picture on the Amazon site does not match the product. The gray blocks on the black/gray version are almost indistinguishable from the black blocks; it is almost a solid color. But, the quality and comfort, and the price, are all very good....I have not washed this yet, and from other reviews, I will wash on gentle and hang dry. The reviews and question/answer feature says this shirt will shrink some. I got a large, with little room for shrinkage. The fit is good but not much extra room, and I don't like baggy. UPDATE 12-17-2025. I ended up returning and replacing with an x-large, have already washed it and it fits great. Still just 4 stars because it is VERY hard to button and unbutton, the button holes seem too small, but you can still force the button through. UPDATE 1-2-26 After two weeks of use, the button holes are still far too tight. Unless you want to fight with this shirt every time you wear it, don’t buy it.

I bought this to wear as a fleece "shacket" for work, rather than their branded (embroidered logo) jacket that was useless to me outside of work. We couldn't wear a black hoodie, so I needed to buy something that was warm, easy to (keep) clean, and looks neat. This shirt looks much nicer, has a ton more wearability, and the bonus is, it's a perfect cozy sweater/shirt for chilly fall days or keeping warm at home. My wife loves how soft and warm it is, I'll be getting her one too. It washes well (I turn it inside-out, and hang to dry, and doesn't get staticky, which is a huge plus. I like the pockets, they're generous and soft inside. There's flaps on the chest pockets, which I didn't really need... probably would choose no flaps if there was a choice, but not a huge deal. The pockets are perfect for keeping the odd thing in at work as I walk around, and has usually eliminated my need for a waist pouch. The shirt was sewn well, with no messy stitching or loose threads, and buttons are all very secure. Good choice of colours, and a reasonable price, especially compared to fleece from C*lumb*a, LL B*an, etc. (overkill for what I required) Get this shirt. You will not be disappointed!

Die Fleecejacke gefällt mir richtig gut. Sie hält in der Übergangszeit angenehm warm und sieht dabei wirklich hervorragend aus. Die Verarbeitung macht einen guten Eindruck und sie trägt sich angenehm. Weil sie mir so gut gefallen hat, habe ich sie mir direkt noch in einer anderen Farbe bestellt. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann die Jacke auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
