I do allot of painting and refinishing and I couldn't get half of a rifle out of this can (unless you aren't too particular about the quality of your coats) you'll need more than one can to do a complete job. Great alternative.
Restored an old gun but the bluing process would have cost twice as much as the gun was worth. This was a fairly inexpensive alternative. It looks good, too.

Preparing the surface is crucial to a good finish.
The product sprayed awesome. Thus far the coating is as durable as advertised. The preparation product provided worked incredibly well and the final finish was flawless. The only drawback thus far is, it states it will coat two rifles. I followed the online video from the manufacturer and was only able to coat two Glock slides. The manufacturer calls for 4 light coats, I was only able to get 3 per slide. I plan to purchase more to coat a shotgun in the future. I have yet to fire my EDC Glock, but the finish seems as durable as advertised. I would recommend for anyone with good rattle can paint skills.

Duracoat and it's many uses.
I know, I know.. This is not a gun. That being said, I've used Duracoat many times on guns and I absolutely love it. As long as your prep work is done right, this stuff is magic. These photos are the scoops and faux tank from my VMax 1200. I opted for Duracoat because it's tough as hell and their tactical black is the coolest looking black I know of. It came out FLAWLESS.

Complete color spray system
I liked the easy spray system and the color match was great, in addition the kit came with a degreaser, the complete package.
