This Minecraft torch lamp is a really fun addition for any Minecraft fan. Perfect Nightlight for Kids
This makes an excellent nightlight for the kids room. The fully-charged battery will last all night and about half of another night. Easy push button operation, so even the littles can figure it out. The USB charging is convenient. NOTE: this is NOT a toy. True to Minecraft fashion, the corners and edges are very squared/angular and, while not sharp enough to cut anyone, should not be treated as a toy for kids to bop around. The plastic is hard and sturdy. This is truly meant to be used as a lamp. We did take it on a campout and it was nice to be able to carry a dim light around without blinding or waking the entire group with a bright lantern. All in all, a very nice room decoration with an acceptable price point.

Awesome gift for older kids
Bought this for an 8 year old boy for Christmas. He loves Minecraft, so this was right up his alley. My only regret is that I didn't buy one for his sister too! It lights up really nicely, and he loves it so much that he keeps it in bed with him. To create the pixelated look for the light itself, it does have pieces of transparent orange plastic that jut out from the top. This isn't problem for him, he takes good care of it, but I wouldn't trust a younger child with it. If it gets banged off of anything, I expect these fragile-looking pieces of plastic would probably break pretty easily.
