A Great Accessory for my Bid Green Egg
This smoker plate works perfectly. So far, I have smoked a large roasting chicken and a 5 lb. brisket. Both came out great. One hint: cover the top of the smoker plate with heavy duty aluminum foil to make it easy to remove the burned-on drippings from the meat.

Waste of money
Cracked in half after first use on BGE! We needed a deflect in a hurry so choose this one for the quick shipping. Waste of money. Requested a refund to no avail.

works as expected
Been using this for a couple months on my BGE and it works great. Fits perfectly in the egg and provides just the right amount of space for the aluminum drip pan under the grill grate.

Not the one in the picture
Item received is obviously a knock-off, with the three legs/risers only being ¾ of an inch tall. works as a deflector, but does not hold the grill high enough for a drip or liquid tray. Buy one from an authorized Big Green Egg retailer, NOT from here.

Works but gets really dirty
I like this and it does what it says. I just wish it didn't get so dirty. I don't even know how that could be done. Also, since it's the same material as the egg, it is prone to chipping. This item gets handled a lot; a hard coating of some sort would help protect it.

This is only designed for the BGE. I have a Kamdo Joe, and this doesn't fit well for that. It will work, as the grills are the same size and dimensions. It's the three sides that extend up that don't fit within the Kamado Joe's fire ring.

Plate Setter
Great product, I have a Gourmet Pots Kamodo style grill and this fits it perfectly. The day after I got it, I smoked baby back ribs for 5 hours and the meat fell off the bone.

Said it was for large egg. But was for medium. That's what I get for trying to save 20 bucks. I went to the store and got the one that fits.
