Nothing lasts forever. This won't either. But it will restore the functionality of your grill for a couple/few more years. It's a perfect fit for my older Weber Genesis Silver B. Buy it. Enjoy it. Know that if you keep your grill in good repair, it will last and last. But, to paraphrase Thomas Jefferson, eternal replacement is the price of entropy. Still, it's cheaper than a new grill. But if you want to justify the new grill, you have my permission to carp about the price and durability of replacement parts these days. And if you invite me over, I promise to be impressed and to assure you that my old Weber ain't got nothin' on your new baby.
