This light is quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be, so I was a little worried at first. I haven't had it very long, but so far it's working great. The biggest thing I'm noticing is that my sleep is so much better. I would say this has really cured my insomnia. I fall asleep faster at night, and even if I have to wake up and use the bathroom, it's easy to fall back to sleep. I wake up after 8-9 hours feeling refreshed. The first thing I do when I get up is turn on my light therapy box. I only use it for around 15 minutes on its brightest setting. I have no desire to use this for longer than 15 minutes because so far, it's working great. When I was doing research before I bought it, it said to be careful how long its used as it can cause headaches and eye strain. That's why I decided to start out at a lower time and gradually increase it. Hopefully this lasts a good long while. It does seem flimsy, but hopefully it's sturdier than it looks.

I bought it in October 2024 and started using it right away during my early morning coffee routine. The light has held up perfectly after a year. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and the quality still feels brand new. Some reviewers mentioned it gets hot, but I haven’t noticed that at all. One note: the controls are touch-style, not physical buttons, but they’re responsive and easy to use. Overall: A+ for price, design, and performance. I only use it in the winter, but I have no doubt it would last through daily use year-round. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make dark mornings a little brighter! On the same table sits my 20-year-old MOVA rotating globe, which only spins when exposed to real sunlight. It hasn’t rotated in years because it’s too far from a window. But when I turn on this therapy lamp, the globe starts moving again a clear sign this light really does replicate the power of the sun.

Pro tip- dont look directly at the light when you press the on button. This small desk lamp holds the light of 1000 suns and will surprise you with how bright it is. I work from home and struggle with leaving the house enough so I got this for my mental health and I feel that it has been greatly beneficial. Edit: Still a good product overall, but after going through 2 of these in a matter of 3 months I wanted to add that they are not built to last. My first one I accidentally dropped from a height of 3 feet and something inside broke (you could hear it rattling) but that was on me so I bought a second one. I was careful not to drop this one, but unfortunately it did not last much longer as the light bulb burnt out and it’s not replaceable. I’m looking into other daylight lamps now because this was a great lamp while it lasted.

So easy to use! Three levels of brightness, four time settings make it so I get the right amount of sunlight for those hard to face winter mornings. This light has made waiting for dawn easier to handle. I am so glad I found this!

As others have said, this lamp is great until it decides to stop turning on and off. I loved the smaller size and the different adjustment options. But what good are those if it won't even turn on? The issue seems to be with the switches - they're not true buttons you can press, just touch-activated spots on the bottom panel. For the past 2 weeks I was able to wiggle and finagle it for several minutes to eventually coax it to turn on, but even when it did come on, it had to be fully unplugged to be shut off because the power switch would not respond. Today nothing worked, even after 10+ minutes of messing with it. Such a shame, since it is a nice design overall, but just not worth it in the end. I'm going to try again and invest in a different one and hope for more than a month's use for my money.

I bought this in mid December 2025. It was generally working as it should. The only problem was you have to press somewhat hard on the buttons just to turn it on. By February or early March 2026, it either stopped working, turning on at all, or it barely works. But the upside is it's either super bright or a subdued bright just as you want it. The light color that comes out is white. It is somewhat easy to adjust, but not entirely. The cord does connect to either a wall or cord outlet. But the device doesn't charge at all. It only works when plugged in.

My daughter has seasonal depression and her therapist recommended a daylight lamp. So far, she likes it. It's very bright, easy to take to different places, and provides a relaxing ambiance.

It's become my every morning routine! 30 mins within 1 hour from waking, 30-50cm from your eyes, not looking directly at it. It can plug in with any cell phone type c, but it comes with a nice long cable.
