Nice robotic vacuum. I had initially tried the base model shark vacuum and was amused. That particular vacuum used the bump to bump method of cleaning and overall did a good job. Moving into the future was nice since I now didn't need to sweep the floor myself. I wondered how nice it would be to have a robotic mop as well. I found this Roborock with the added mop function and was impressed by the reviews so I decided to give it a try. I have now had the vacuum in operation for the past three weeks and I now feel qualified to provide a review.The vacuum function has five modes: Mop, Quiet, Balanced, Turbo, and MAX. So far I've tried three of the modes, the Balanced, MAX, and the MOP. The Balanced mode allows the Roborock to automatically increase and decrease the suction power depending on the terrain that it goes over such as bare floor vs carpeting, works fine and is not too loud. I could still watch TV while it's doing its thing without too much distraction. The MAX mode is loud and sounds like a quieter version of a full vacuum. I noticed that with MAX mode, the Roborock seems more aggressive when bumping into things. This makes sense as I suspect the primary use for MAX mode would be carpeting. I mostly used the Roborock for hardwood flooring so the Balanced mode has worked fine even though we have four small dogs in the house.The Mop mode drops the vacuum to a bare minimum and is a one time use that needs to be activated in the settings before beginning a cleaning cycle. This should only be used if the floor had already been cleaned. However, I normally use the mopping container on the balanced mode which using higher suction and does the mopping at the same time. I do this about two times per week and it does well in keeping my floors clean. Also, the cleaning pattern of the Mop mode doesn't look any different than the balanced mode so it's almost unnecessary but I can see how it could be handy if used while at home so you can monitor the cleaning. I often fill the water container in the morning before going to work and let it vacuum/mop while I'm away and it does fine just on its own. I think the manual states to be home when using the mopping container but my floors are smooth and I remove anything on the floor that can be so I've yet to have any issues.Obviously, the mopping won't be as good as manually mopping or a steam mop but I have found that with regular use, it does a pretty good job that I can live with. On one occasion, I added vinegar to the water in an attempt to provide a bit of cleaning power to the water and it worked ok but I noticed that the moisture on the floor wasn't as evenly distributed so I don't think that is a winner. On another occasion, I added a little bit of chlorinated surface cleaner to the container and I think it worked a little better since I could smell a little chlorine clean in the air. I think I will be trying this again. Also, the instructions do say not to add cleaners to the water because it could cause the small filtered water distribution ports on the bottom of the container to clog. Well, I just purchased a 12 pack of the filters here on Amazon for less than five bucks so I will be experimenting with adding different types of cleaners that won't leave a residue on the floor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JZZ3RF3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. In this manner, once I have a few dirty cloths, I can wash a bunch of them using my washing machine at the same time.The cleaning pattern that the Roborock uses is impressive. Since it literally can see using the laser on its little cupula, it creates a map of the area and does a great job a covering just about every inch of the floor. I have noticed a couple glitches though when I set the software to store the map. On at least two times, I left a loose rug on the floor that caused the robot to get stuck. Someone walking by picked up the robot and set it off of where it stopped and restarted the cleaning. The Roborock appear to "ghost" the room map as seen on my phone app. Basically, the original room map was still there but there was a second offset map as well. This caused the Roborock to extend the cleaning cycle since it wasn't able to know that the issue occurred. However, it still cleaned the entire floor just in some places it did so more than once. At the end of the cycle it struggled to find its home since the dock on the map was offset because of the "ghosted" image. The software provides an option to not save the map which I activated. In this manner it resets the map each time and works well. I didn't set any exclusion zones so have no need to save the map. If I did need to add zones, I would toggle the map saving function and once it completes a new cycle the map would be saved where zones could be added.The voice on the Roborock is adequately loud and clear. It announces when a cleaning cycle is about to start and end, when the dirt container needs to be emptied, and if an error occurs such as when it has gotten stuck on the rug. There may be more things that it announce but the above are the ones I've heard so far. Also, there are several languages and voices that can be set. For english, there is only one option at the moment and it's a female voice - it is nice though.Another interesting thing is that the first few times that the robot mapped the rooms, it would vacuum at an angle to the direction of the square rooms. This bothered my touch of OCD but it did do a good job of cleaning. The last time I reset the map, it now vacuums perpendicular to the walls which are north, south, east, and west - so basically it is now vacuuming in a north south pattern which makes me happy (lol).The timer works perfectly as well. I set the Roborock to clean in balanced mode every day during the week and to MAX mode on the weekends when I'm home. On at least a couple of days during the week, I install the mopping container. On the weekend, I allow the MAX vacuum cycle to complete then perform a second cleaning using the Mop mode for extra cleaning. This cycle is working very well for me.Overall, I am very happy with the Roborock and would definitely buy it again if I had to do it all over again. It cleans well, has a mop feature that I can now not live without, and it is smart!It's currently snowing outside and I sure wish there was a robotic snow cleaner for my driveway!

I researched robot vacuums for 5 days straight to make my decision. There will always be some trade-offs but I think the S5 checked off more of the critical points so decided to give it a try. I have only used it 3 times and will update the review after more use but here's the initial impression.1) Mapping: Mapping functionality is superb. The one thing I couldn't accept was the random bumping around to find it's way through my home. The S5 is freaky smart in mapping the floorplan. We have a complex floor plan (2,200ft2 main floor) with 2 tables, 12 dining chairs, 2 couches, 2 coffee tables, 5 chairs, dog bed and multiple random pieces of furniture. Nailed the mapping on the first try. Yes we can improve buy moving a few things around to give the S5 more access.2) Time: The 1st attempt took about 159 minutes with one return to the base for re-charge. The 2nd cleaning it improved the path and cut the time down to 115 minutes with no re-charge. To be fair I blocked off two small rooms to experiment with the feature but the path and time the 2nd time around was much more efficient.First run was at 11:45pm. No lights. I think this is one of the major benefits. Camera mapping/navigation needs some lights and we wanted a unit that would work at night with the lights off while we are upstairs asleep.3) Docking/Charging: I located the charge base in the worst possible location because I wanted it out of sight. I ignored all the recommendations for space on the sides and front. Never had an issue finding the base!3) Sound. As mentioned, we used the standard settings and no carpet detection but overall the S5 was quiet. No banging around like the "dumb" units. We did have all the upstairs doors closed but I think the sound is more than acceptable. Remember it is a vacuum. If you want absolute quiet, get a broom.4) Cleaning: Cleaning was better than expected (way better!). I wanted to get a baseline before changing the settings before experimenting. Yes it missed a few things but considering the suction level was set to "standard" and carpet sensing turned off, I was impressed. Multiple rooms/hallways with 75% hardwood and 25% carpet (medium pile carpet in one room and 3 different rugs-3 different pile heights). I will change the settings and monitor the performance.Only missed one area. I have an L-shaped desk and it would not navigate under the desk (where the chair sits). Will clean the office again to see if it gets better. Either way not a big deal because we use a hand vacuum for spot cleaning anyway.In the end, I was paying a house cleaner $250/month. Yes they cleaned more but for the most part needed them to stay on top of the floors. Problem was that they only can 2x month. I can run the S5 every other night, be well ahead of the game from cleaning standpoint and save lots of $$$$ (2 month payback!).5) Mopping- Didn't buy the S5 for the mopping feature so haven't tried yet but will update later if we decide to get it a try.6) App- Not perfect but once you figure out how to navigate, it gets the job done.7) Value: I'm not an expert but... If you have larger/complex floorplan, want something that can run with the lights off and don't want it bumping into everything, the Roborock technology is the way to go (at least anything with LIDAR). Don't waste your time on the $200 "bump 'n go" models, get one with good mapping technology. I really wanted to try the self-emptying models from well known maker of my upright vacuum but figured I would lose my mind if it took 30 attempts to map and couldn't run at night.Initial Conclusion (one concern): I decided on the S5 because I read the S4 had some difficulty with carpet. Because of the different rugs and carpet we have I didn't want to chance it. The zone clean-up is a great feature although I haven't fully utilized it yet. The no-go lines have some limitations but work well. I am still learning to see if I can block out sections with a box instead of lines.I want to purchase a 2nd unit for upstairs. Considering the price difference between S4-S5-S5 Max and S6, I will probably stick with S5 unless I learn S4 can handle the carpet without issues.In the end, there are compromises with everything and there will always be something new and improved but I am confident I made a good decision with the S5!

Ive owned mine for several weeks now and feel i can give a pretty informed review.First is that this is definitely worth its cost if trying to find something that will get the job done well and are trying to avoid how expensive the top of the line robot vacuums are.I owned an irobot (only vacuum) for 3 or so years and when it died I had to get a very basic style (vacuumand mop).The mapping was very quick and pretty spot on with the ability to adjust barriers, mark/label different rooms, label the floor type (carpet vs hard floor) ect.I like how I can customize how I want it to clean and can adjust it depending on the day (suction setting, water setting, more detailed pattern, one pass or two, how often I want it to self empty)The mop is basically still the same you see with most, where its a washable pad that glazes over the floor, although this does SLIGHTLY agitate so I guess thats a little better.Ive had once or twice where its gotten stuck on something but that was not its fault at all.The water tank doesnt need to be filled as often as I expected (my basic one needed to be refilled 2 or 3 times in one cleaning) whereas this can go through a few cleaning sessions unless im having my entire house done. Then i would have to refill it at the end of a full house cleaning.Ive had no issues with its docking. Only problem is that there typically is still always some debris after its done and has gone to self empty. Mind you i have a great pyrenees so the hair in this house is overwhelming to the poor vacuum im sure.All I all i would say this has been a HUGE improvement and has taken a significant chore off of my daily list. I still will need to bust out a manual mop, but this is going to be the case no matter what style I were to buy.

I almost returned this because of main brush obstruction errors and carpet mode being intermittent as you may see in other reviews. Considering I bought this shortly after the release I sort of expected the need for some bugs to be worked out. Both of these issues were fixed with the release of firmware 01.44.36. I have been running this new firmware for a week now and I am glad I kept it, its been the best robot vacuum and mop I have owned.Why I chose this one:I decided on this model because of the reviews from previous models but with updates to this model. It used LiDAR laser for mapping, has more suction then previous ones, Controls water flow for mopping (good with hardwood floors), an updated 8 core processor with GPU (room for future updates), privacy not using the cloud for AI object avoidance, but still works with the google home API if you want.I spent a year researching new vacuums compared to my old roomba’s while waiting for my house to be completed. I also had a brava mop, but the idea of one machine to do both was great and this was cheaper then by a competitors combo set for two machines.Performance:This is the best suction on any robot vacuum I have used, no problems getting the dirt between tiles or hardwood floor slats out. Does good on 1cm pile carpet with out any issues. I like the control over the water flow for the hardwood floors, and I can set the rooms with tile to use more water.AI object recognition:This seems to work good for the most part, if you have a cord that is flat on the carpet it might not see it, but I just set this area as a no go zone. Cords sticking up higher like in power strips are recognized along with shoes, the pedestal of my light bases, the glass scale (impressive since it is glass) and a few other things. Despite me telling the app I do not have a pet it did pick up with wheel casters on a desk chair as pet discharge. I am sure this will improve overtime and its not a big deal since it will needed to avoid the wheels of the chairs anyway.Battery:It was able to vacuums the whole house with 42% battery remaining. My house is a 1780sq feet, but the floor space it covers is about 1200 sq feet.I recommend:Buying an accessory kit that has additional mopping cloths so you will have a clean one as the others are waiting for that weekend laundry. I have ran the cloths in the washer and dryer and they don’t shrink. The accessory kit I bought was $26 USD and had4 filters, 6 white side brushes, 5 mop cloths, 2 cleaning tools, and 2 main brushes, but the 2 main brushes are questionable with less bristles. Still worth the money for the filters, mop cloths and the white side brush work better on higher carpets in my opinion.Other things:They added remote viewing now for this pet owners that want to keep an eye on the pet while they are at work, this does work good although not something I will use. But I wanted to test it since they enabled it. You can watch it while its cleaning or use remote control to drive it. Just be carful when driving in remote mode, it doesn’t use the LiDar or bumper sensor in remote control mode so you can hit the wall or knock/push things over. Maybe they will enable the sensors for remote control in a cuter update?Things I hope they add going forward:They have a list of commands that can be used with google home and the one command they don't mention is “find my vacuum” or “locate my vacuum”.I hope they enhance this automated home experience by allowing the rooms to be named, this way you can tell the robot what room to vacuum.I also hope they let you name the schedules if you have multiple schedules and allow you to run a schedule manually my just telling google home. Let’s say you are expecting company, you can just tell your home automation to run a certain named schedule.If it was compatible with IFTTT then I could have my HoneyWell thermostat turn on the air circulation when its mopping to dry the floor faster, maybe this will be a future item?Final Thoughts:I think its worth the money when you look at buying a vacuum and mop robot to help around the house and the combination cost more then this single and capable robot. I believe they have worked out most of the new product firmware bugs now and hopefully it will only get better going forward with home automation.

[Only 11 days in, so I'll update this as we approach the warranty limit. 2022.02.27]LOVE this machine! Praying it's well-built and lasts, because it is wonderful. Why? Lemme tell ya.First, the miracle: our motor-phobic, prey-obsessed herding dog CAN STAND THIS VACUUM! When I ordered it, family members expressed loving concern that perhaps I'd lost my beans. I had the great hope that maybe, just maybe, I could run the thing inside a closed room while I entertained Mr. Dog far, far away and outdoors. Living the dream, eh? I rather assumed I'd be sending this vacuum back. I visualized the moral struggle of wanting to buff out bite marks while knowing that would be wrong, very wrong indeed.Instead, I'm floored (hahahahah) to report that I can actually run the Roborock S4 Max ("Max") with my dog INSIDE the same room. For real. Nobody who knows Mr. Dog would have have taken that bet.Our long-haired, 68-pound purebred herder hates with a passion lawnmowers, motorcycles, and my screaming-loud upright vacuum cleaner. He can't stand the whines of a hand mixer, electric juice reamer, coffee bean grinder, drill, or manual crank-powered radio. Thankfully, the electric shaver and toothbrushes pass muster; and after much work, over months, I got him able to cope with a popcorn popper.As for things that move, he is an arch-enemy of squirrels, crows, hawks, bees, spiders, ants, slowly twirling ceiling fan blades . . . you name it. He growls at and chases brooms, mops, and long-handled shovels. He has even sometimes attacked the damp paper towel with which I'm attempting to wipe up his hair while crouched on the floor, a wheeze-inducing, poor substitute for the vacuuming I've neglected since his adoption. Until we got Max the Bot, it had been getting really gross around here.Anyway, something about the sound of the Roborock S4 Max motor may be key. It's just not very shrill at all. A quite quiet little whir. Another unexpected blessing is the motion of the machine. For reasons I'll never know, it doesn't set off Mr. Dog. Even the little rubbery, spidery finger things are not triggering. I had to do some desensitization training, sure, but no biggie. Day 1 looked good. By Day 3, we were off to the races! Metaphorically speaking. Mr. Dog does NOT chase Max. Nor bark at it. As I said, a miracle.I've been using this thing nearly every day. It needs two attempts on most rooms, but what do I care? I'm SO fricking happy not to be lugging my mighty, insanely loud vacuum around in a sweaty rush while stowing my dog at someone else's house, or negotiating with another human family member to do it for me. Our household dirt includes a lotta long dog hair plus splotches of potting soil from an enthusiastic houseplant lover who's recently moved back in with her parents. But two passes does the job.You can read the specs and comparisons and pros and cons, but here's the deal for me:(1) Works with nutty dog! That's enough right there.(2) I don't have to interact with any other humans to make vacuuming happen. I just press a button and walk away.As for all the fancy features, yes, they work, but I don't care much. Most important, the thing vacuums well and can usually find its charging station without help. If not, no big deal to pick it up. So far, I haven't even bothered to program the invisible walls and such. I just put the bot where I want it to clean, press the button, and walk away. Easy to block an area with shoes or other objects if desired (e.g. laundry basket at top of stairs allows humans and dogs to pass, but not Max the Bot to tumble). Getting texts from the vacuum when it's done is hilarious.As for human factors, I've asked non-asthmatic family members to empty the wee bin, which fills up quite quickly with dog hair and dust. It's such an easy task, though, they don't mind. We DO have to pull out long hair from the twirling brush and front wheel most days, but no worries. There's no way around that, even with a mighty vacuum.As for models, I picked the cheaper S4 because I wasn't ready to pony up for a unit that can also do wet-mopping. Various reviews made me think S4 would be as good as S5.Can't think of any cons except the cost and wishing I'd got this thing earlier. It's heads and shoulders above the automatic floor dusters we tried 20 years ago.Crossing my finger it lasts! So far, absolutely thrilled.PS: I have a friend with one of these. Same model. She's worked it hard for months with no issues. She reports with delight that her adolescent and adult children now routinely PICK UP their charging cords and hair elastics and earrings and sewing doodads and other goodies from their shared living space every day. Hmm, who know when Mom programmed that thing to go off? Such a bad memory, tch-tch-tch. Yeah, it'll eat a cord. Ya don't want THAT.

I'm revising my comments below. I've been spending time searching for experiences from other users, because, as I said, This machine is excellent when it works. The problems I had encountered led to me being told to return my unit and a replacement was sent. A few times.Two tricks that I've learned: When the unit doesn't find the dock, turn off the robot, then turn it back on, while it's sitting precisely at the dock. This almost always works for me. By doing this occassionaly I've resolved all the issues I've had with the vacuum.I have 2 dogs and a cat, so a lot of pet hair. I have the robot programmed to run a complete sweep of my house (all tiled) every day and this has kept my house pethairfree.It's not really a mop, it's primarily a vacuum. I do like that the damp sweep that it gives while vacumming picks up any remaining dust or hair.Great product for me.This machine is wonderful when it works. Unfortunately it often doesn't work.Customer service is great. Every time it breaks down they are very supportive, they walk you though a few days trouble-shooting, then they tell you to return to them (they pay the postage) and after they've received and verified your unit, they'll ship you a new one.I'm on my 3rd one now that has been replaced. Every time they replace it I'm without it for a few weeks. 4 vacuums in about 4 months means I've been without it for half the time I've owned it.

I'll start by saying that I rarely leave Amazon reviews, but I felt that this issue was important enough to warrant one. I was a big fan of my previous Roborock S5. I used it primarily in an environment with hardwood, tile, and low pile carpet, but it always cleaned extremely well and navigated better than any other robot vacuum I'd seen. I'd recommend it to all my friends and tell my family how awesome it was, despite very few of them having an actual interest in purchasing a robot vacuum of their own. This positive experience was what prompted me to look for an upgrade whenever I moved into a house.I had been very excited after hearing about the announcement of the Roborock S6 MaxV. The idea of a robot vacuum being able to determine what objects to avoid would, in my mind, bridge the gap between a truly autonomous assistant and an ineffective annoyance that frequently eats cords and gets stuck on furniture. I will say that I was impressed with the navigation abilities of the S6 MaxV. It does actually seem to avoid items that it could get caught up on. The previous generations were already great at navigation, but would still require prep work beforehand so that they didn't suck up unintended items. While the S6 MaxV object recognition is not perfect yet, I have no doubt that improvements will be made though future updates. It's also very neat to see the robot mark obstacles on the in-app map and try to label what it believes them to be. I did have an issue that cropped up several times. The robot would mark something as an obstacle in the app, but it wouldn't try to avoid it at all. For example, it marked a couple bar chairs with pedestal bases as an item that needed to be avoided. I was impressed that it even identified them as "pedestal" in the app. However, whenever it got to them, it still tried to climb the sides and ended up getting stuck for several minutes. After it sorted itself out, I figured that it would avoid them during the next pass. Unfortunately, it did the exact same thing and tried to drive up the side of the chair base again.The biggest problem that I had with the S6 MaxV (and the reason I'm going to be returning it) is the carpet performance. The navigation issues that I mentioned are minimal by comparison and this vacuum still plans its routes better than any that I've seen previously. However, the carpet performance was pretty much nonexistent in my particular situation. I realize that most robot vacuums are oriented at hard floor cleaning. I fully understand that it's potentially going to be a very long time before we see a robot vac that's as effective on carpet as a human being using a full fledged vacuum. However, this product is advertised as being able to operate on carpet. Of course, one could make the reasonable assumption that it would have difficulties with shag carpet or other types of uncommon surfaces. Regular vacuums have the same problem when it comes to very high pile materials. My home has what I would describe as moderately thick medium pile carpet. See the included photo for an illustration of the length. I didn't choose it and it definitely would not be my preferred flooring, but it's what I'm stuck with for the time being. I hadn't even considered that this vacuum might run into any issues with this surface because it is not shag or high pile, but I found that I was very wrong. Upon reaching the carpeted area during its first run, I noticed a strange sort of whining noise. It wasn't very loud, but it was definitely different than the previous sounds the vac was making. Turns out that the whining noise was the brush getting jammed up on the carpet and remaining almost completely stationary. I was able to open up the top cover while the vacuum was operating and view the brush rotation (or lack thereof) through the semi-transparent dustbin. It would either remain completely stationary or very slowly rotate with the forward motion of the vacuum as it was being pushed by the carpet below. As most people know, a vacuum's effectiveness is determined by both suction and agitation and not just one or the other.Upon reporting the issue to Roborock support, they asked me to provide documentation of the carpet style as well as video of the issue, which I was more than happy to supply. After several back and forth messages, they told me that the behavior was "normal" and that I "don't have to worry about it." Yeah, that didn't sit right with me. I've owned a Roomba and a Neato - both of which were considerably more affordable than this vacuum - in the past and they've never encountered issues with the brush roll being inoperative on carpet. Roborock told me that the suction alone is enough to clean the carpet but this is simply not true. If this were factual, why would any vacuum include a brush bar at all? In the end, I cannot justify paying $750 for an appliance that won't clean half of my home satisfactorily. Maybe this would be acceptable if it was commonplace for all other robovacs to struggle on carpet in a similar fashion, but it is not.In conclusion, if you mainly have hard floors or very low pile carpet, I think that the Roborock S6 MaxV could be a decent choice for you. However, at that price point, there are other robovacs that can also do the job just as well for cheaper, including some of Roborock's other models. I'd primarily go for the S6 MaxV if you're interested in the AI recognition technology or have many obstacles around the house that are below the line where the LIDAR would detect them. For me personally, after additional evaluation I have decided to go with the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI. It offers almost the exact same functionality as the S6 MaxV, very similar navigation and object recognition, and even has double side brushes and an optional self-emptying stand. You can sometimes find the robot and self-empty stand bundled together for just marginally more than the S6 MaxV is going for currently. The biggest plus is that I've found that it has no issues with the brush roll at all. In fact, it picked up tons of debris that the S6 MaxV had missed on the carpet just minutes before. I still prefer the app functionality of Roborock and I really like the company as a whole. I just wish that they would have done some more testing and refining so that they could have spotted some of these potential issues before release.

Very impressed at this price point. While this doesn’t have every premium feature I wish it had, it’s still got great functionality for the price. Only major issue is mopping functionality.The setup was very straightforward with the app. I had it map my house out and it very quickly used its LIDAR mapping going room to room and essentially “scanning” around to develop where walls solid objects were located without needing to actually bump into every surface, building the map out in real time. The robot also continually updates the map as it cleans, meaning if you move furniture after that initial scanning it will still adapt and it’s route becomes more refined every time.The application is very easy to use and user friendly. I can either run a full house cleaning with one mode, specific rooms with one mode, customize the cleaning mode for each room, or just do spot cleaning in a specific area that I designate. I can add no-go zones and designate carpeted and thresholds as well.It does a fantastic job with vacuuming, the edge sweeper grabs up anything loose outside of its normal range and the varying levels of suction is very helpful spending on the floor type. It is worth noting that the higher speeds really chews through the battery. Running it on the Max (one step below the highest MAX+ speed) I only got between 1-1.5 hours of continuous cleaning and mopping before it had to recharge. And recharging is VERY slow taking several hours to fully charge back up.The mopping capability is where this one lacks the most. Mopping is just a wet microfiber pad that drags behind the vacuum, I am going to try using the Roborock cleaning solution as well but if you’re not using that solution it simply drags room temp water along the floor. It’s better than nothing and I have seen it work to clean up small sticky spots, but it’s certainly not deep cleaning in any way. The biggest issue I have with it is that the mop pad is fixed to the “active” position meaning it does not lift up at all if you’re not mopping. This is major issue because as it moves on to the rug the mop pad is what snags on the edges. If the pad raised up slightly it could easily navigate over the edge. The other issue with it not raising is that it continues to drag the wet mop all over the carpet and trail the water from room to room. As a result, I have to completely block out the large carpet area in my living room for fear of damaging both the rug and the vacuum. I know they offer more expensive models with raising pads, but that is something that should be standard because of how essential of a feature it is.Overall I do recommend it for the vacuum ability and LIGHT mopping ability, especially if you don’t have any carpet or rugs. If you absolutely need it to clean your rugs too though, I would definitely consider paying a bit more to upgrade to the model with the raising mop.

I did lots of research before purchasing Roborock S4, there are lots of robot vacuum on the market. We think Roborock is by far the best robot vacuum.

Nous avons deux Labrador et... on a un peu abandonné l'idée d'avoir une maison propre. Mais quand même. Il y a trois ans j'ai acheté un Roborock S5 avec fonction serpillère. La technologie n'était clairement pas au point et je me suis dit, pourquoi pas prendre ce modèle. Après déballage et test, ce robot est vraiment le top. La fonction serpillère parvient à quasiment effacer les traces de pattes / boue de nos chiens. Alors ça n'est pas aussi propre qu'après un passage à la main, encore que. Franchement c'est très bien. De plus je le trouve plus silencieux que mon S5 même en mode aspiration forte. Et le top, c'est que là où mon S5 n'arrivait pas à aspirer mon tapis, celui-ci passe dessus sans problème et là aussi, pour un robot ça fait clairement le job. Ca ne dispense pas d'un ménage hebdomadaire mais pour un nettoyage quotidien j'ai trouvé le robot parfait !

The product is probably nice and effective, but the seller is selling it in Saudi market where the voltage is incompatible to the functioning of the product. They should not sell it in a market which is not right for the product!

I was looking for a robot that can really vacuum and mop well, and thought that is not possible. I had a Neato XV Signature Pro that vacuums well, and thought that could not be surpassed. I was wrong. Roborock S5 Max could do either or both vacuuming and mopping very well. The other features that one can use from the App is wonderful too. Bought a unit for my parents and might buy one for my in-laws. "The Rock" is now our BFF!
