I bought this to ofc store documents, important small items, etc. I can't speak to it the level of fire protection bc that's something that organically happens. Don't wanna light it on fire to test. Some other people on here may have though so look for videos, maybe on ytube too. I guess you could buy one purely to test out. Any ways it does feel like a quality product. It's very tick, 2 pockets for holding documents. Strong zipper. Can hold a good about of things. The outside does seem Water resistant bc of the type of material however I'm unsure if it is water proof bc of the fact that it uses zippers. It also has velcro to close it up after you zipper it up. At the price point I think it's good for at least some level of protection. If you are very concerned about fire protection I'd put this folder in a fire proof flood proof safe for extra protection.

My family went through a house fire, fortunately my stuff was in a plastic zip block bag and was saved from all the water damage from the fire department. But it made me think about how my documents could've easily been gone it the fire had reached it. Glad I made this purchase. feels sturdy and I can rest easy knowing my documents are safe!

These hold ample docs so you don't need to panic if you must leave the home so in the instance of fire you know they'll keep your important docs safe until you can retrieve them. You only need to remember where you place these out of the way and secure.

so, how do you write a review for a product that you don't want to test. I haven't had a fire yet, and hopefully I never will. it LOOKS like it would protect it from water, if it fell on it. not sure if I were to stick it in a bucket of water and let it sit there how it would fare, but I think it would at least hold out for a while. as for protecting it from fire damage...here's to hoping it was constructed well. it is a nice size. I can fit my documents in it without having to fold them up (laying flat). it seems sturdy...like it can "bend a little" but it is really firm and durable. that is as best of a review as I can give it
