Super strong and quiet.
This comes with all the cables needed and more. Itโs a quality power supply and Corsair stands behind them 100%. I had an issue with an older one in another PC and the RMAโd it back and sent out a replacement without a hassle. This one went into my sons gaming OV and has been running perfectly for months now. I bet it outlives the motherboard and processor. Great buy.

Efficient, quiet, and more than enough.
This power supply is probably overkill for me but I wanted a power supply that was completely silent and that will last me through any future upgrade. I never reach loads high enough with the components in my system that the power supply's fan will even spin up and create unwanted noise like my last one. This is one of the highest rated efficient power supplies out there when I bought it, besides the RM1000x, of course. The price seems to fluctuate and balloon ridiculously high often with each of these models. I bought this at around $100, and when I posted this it is up to $150. The RM100x I have seen at $120, now it is somewhere around $175. I can only assume this is because they are in such high demand because of their 'legendary' efficiency ratings by some guy with a website I forgot its name that does all of the testing on power supplies... anyway. It is powering the following and the the fan never spins up besides at boot: AMD Ryzen 1700 OC'ed to 3.9 GHz Asus Prime B350-Plus Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Corsair 3000MHz RAM 2x 8 GB Corsair H100i v2 1 SSD 3 HDD It will run your stuff and it is super quiet.

I previously owned the extremely nice version of the corsair psu i think the ax860i
im not building my new computer till mid june (when gtx 1070 comes out) but i couldnt pass up on the 110 dollar sale, ive done alot of research on psu's so im posting this review early just to inform people. I previously owned the extremely nice version of the corsair psu i think the ax860i, but ever since i installed this and a new gpu my computer has been having issues, i couldnt ever find out if its due to the psu but after doing a bunch of searching i found out that the ax one i had was the very first iteration of incorporating digital feed back in a psu - im here to tell you thats not needed, which is why i didnt go with the rm (digital one forgot exactly which it is) - basically it says that if a product doesnt need that much power it wont send it the power (this one on the other hand is completely analog (right term?) and it will send a constant power signal to all you products with no fluctuation - if you plan on upgrading soon, unless u do this for ur business and/or have a multimeter for measuring wattage, i would 100% say go with a non digital psu - i love the quality control and customer service and all corsair products ive owned in the past so it was a no brainer to chose from corsair - ive always liked over buyign for future builds too and this one should do it, everything is taking less power these days so even if i had to run a 1070 in sli i could ( i never will though im a believer in a single gpu), i did want all moddular....so this one took the cake, oh and a manufacture date from 2016 is always nice (product released like a month ago) as i said i havent used it yet but i have the ax860i so i suspect this will work with flying colors as all corsair products do sorry for the garbled typing but i wanted to record my thoughts as i was thinking about this

I know Corsair for its quality and good customer support. This yet another good product from them.
Purchased on: November 29, 2016 and reviewed as of January 17, 2023. I have had this power supply for a few years already and I have never had a single issue with it. It is quiet and works very well. It includes plenty of cables that should cover all of your needs. I recently decided to upgrade to a new HX1000i because I am confident in Corsair's quality and I need a new power supply for my 4090. Highly recommended from my personal experience. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to go into technical details for the power supply so I can only share my average end user experience.

Silent and Awesome Power Supply
I bought another pc and moved my GTX970 into it. I had put a cheap Chinese 650W power supply in it. Under normal use everything was fine, but when I went play games, the speakers would buzz, and the buzzing wasn't tied to the volume of the speakers. Even with the speakers on MUTE it would buzz. I tried several things and then became convinced it was the cheap components of the power supply causing it. I purchased this Corsair and not only is there absolutely no noise while gaming, there's virtually no noise at all from the power supply. Corsair packs it well and the modulars cables come in a nylon bag! It was easy to install and route the wires. The flat wires on the Sata connections are awesome for routing!

Nice but need to include more cables - and be sure to confirm which version you're ordering.
So far working well, but these come with only 3 PCIe cables - a huge shortcoming if you're setting up mining rigs and need 1 PCIe per GPU. Had to order additional cables which is irritating considering how many modular ports these come with. Why don't they just include enough cables to start with? The EVGA 750w's I got all came with 4 PCIe each (but they were out so I've switched to these). I am saving some watts using the larger PSUs, too - they're more efficient when you're not at 95% capacity as I was before. Also be SURE to notice if the RMx or TX version (or other) is highlighted when you click the Add to Cart button. I ended up with the TX versions the first go around and had to return them all as they don't have nearly enough connectors.

850w Plenty of juice for any high-end build
Corsair power supplies are good and worth the money you spend. They are packaged nicely come in a velvet pouch and your cables are in a separate bag too so you can store the ones you do not use. I use Corsairs in all my builds. The 850w is a nice sweet spot. Plenty of power for dual graphics adapters if you choose, as well as, powering the latest CPU's,LED Ram kits, RGB case lighting etc. etc. Very clean and quiet. I am a HAM radio operator and the last thing I need to hear is a whiny power supply using bad components coming in on my receive. No issues ever with Corsair, they are quality units.

Typical Corsair "HIGH QUALITY" but a very nice price through AMAZON!
Very high quality product, replaced the original "standard power supply" in my Cyberpower PC which is less than a year old. Easy to install and the modular wiring allowed for an extremely clean look and high quality cables. My PC is much quieter due to this beasts silent fan and it eliminated a strange sound that was emanating from the original PSU. For the money, it can not be beat! Product was delivered by Amazon in a timely manner and the packaging is top notch.

Great PSU
Got the 850W model. Great PSU. First time using a fully modular PSU (built my last PC in 2012 so I was overdue for an upgrade). I will never be able to go back to a non-modular PSU, it makes everything so much neater and the installation SO much easier. It's super quiet and was a total steal at $130 on Boxing Day. Really like the sleek all-grey design and low-key logo & model across the side. It's not flashy but still looks like a very premium PSU. Looks great in my i7 8700k build.

I'm happy with Corsair products so for, never had a problem yet
Very efficient power supply. Even when gaming the fan hasn't needed to come on, runs nice and cool even under load. There's also the option, as with most power supplies these days, to mount this facing up or facing down depending on your needs. The only thing I would change for people with less experience building PC's is better labeling for the modular cable connections, but that's minor so still a five star rating from me.

Great PSU
It solved all my power related issues with my PC. My PSU was 6 years old and kept Randonly shutting down. This fixed all of that.
