Guaranteed Analysis: Moisture (max) 6.0%, *Total Microorganisms 10 Billion CFU/gram, Dried Lactobacillus acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus plantarum Fermentation Product; Dried Bif Review: Super. Totally recommended! - Super! Not exactly cheap, but after getting a super skinny poorly rescue dog with some really unhealthy bowel movements, someone recommended pro-biotics for him. So, seeing as it is a medication and not cheap I did some serious and lengthy reading and research! I found this product seemed to be the only one with evidence that the bacteria reaches the gut, or in fact even contains active bacteria, most products only contain yeast and other chemicals to encourage gut health. Anyway, after extensive reading decided this was the product for my boy. He was struggling to put on weight, and like I said earlier, his bowels were far from healthy and there was the occasional incident of him eating his own poo (I know, revolting, I was horrified, but again, reading and research - it's actually a natural habit that's formed with dogs evolving as scavengers, and they will eat literally anything containing undigested protein and goodness, and doing this is symptomatic of deficiency of something in the diet or a problem where food is not being digested by the gut properly). He's been on two a day (as he's a big boy and that's the recommendation dose for his weight) for about a month now, and he has been putting weight on at a much healthier rate, and his bowel movements are so much healthier, I'm definitely going to continue him on them as the evidence out there suggests they are genuinely helpful for dogs, and they've definitely stabilised my boys bowels! Review: IT WORKS - I NEVER write reviews. I have a 10 month old female Yorkie who has had issues since I got her. After at least 20 vet visits and two specialist visits and x rays and ultrasounds, they thought it to be IBD. So she has been in diapers since jump street. Her energy levels low and picky with her prescription food. NOTHING was working. After her most recent bout of constantly straining to poop, I decided to dig a bit deeper. They had me using a basic probiotic. Not good enough. They suggested doing a fecal transplant.. I researched items on desertcart and came across this. It needs to be refrigerated but IT WORKS! I started her this past Monday and now 6 days later she is a seemingly Healthy puppy. No more straining or runny poop. Energy levels increased like I havenโt seen. An appetite of a large man. All the good stuff. And tomorrow I get to go to the specialist and tell them I found the answer . This stuff is amazing . Look no further.

A good choice
Based on all of my research, this probiotic has the right bacteria variety, and the right number of strains (6 different ones I believe.) Seems to be helpful for our dog who is prone to colon inflammation. The best before date is at the end of a long number on the bottle, with the last 4 digits being the month/year.

Cost effective
My dog had colitis and the vet gave him fenbendazole and meteonidale. This wiped all of his gut bacteria. I was giving him fortifora but it's just not cost effective. I needed to give him probiotics for two weeks so ended up searching and bought this item. It works pretty well, I'm still giving my dog this probiotic every other day and his stools have been excellent.
