Works well wired to 12v supply on a golf cart to hookup a 5v usb speedometer. Doesn’t appear to get too hot but I haven’t used it for extended periods. Voltage output is stable and runs my appliance.

I use these to run our home security cameras. I have a cheap computer 12V power supply that I run out to these, crimp a USB adapter on the output and plug in the cameras. I've had them for a couple of years now in the attic and only one of 7 has failed. Not too bad.

so for all you people that like to add toys to your vehicles and hide them, this is the way to go, you can tap in to your rearview mirror cable and run you this in your headliner and not have any cables hanging down in the window or have to run that cable across and down to the cigarette lighter plug for your dash cams or radar detector or even you phone mount power cords.
