I have been looking for an inexpensive condenser/capacitive microphone for my Zoom meeting and presentation recording, and this one really caught my eyes with its price and the reviews.The microphone is plug-and-play, meaning I don't have to install any software to get it working. However, I found that I have to go to sound settings to select this microphone, as Windows seems to keep using the built-in microphone. This can be a little bit inconvenient but once I select this Windows can remember this setting.The quality of this microphone is also very good, and the most important point is that it doesn't capture the background noise. Now I don't really have to sit in another room during my Zoom meeting. My old microphone keeps capturing the traffic noise so it was a bit irritating.Overall it is a very good quality microphone given by the price, but I got one minor problem is that the USB plug on the mic is not designed very well, and it is so hard to plug in. So if I need to plug/unplug this mic every day then it might be a problem.

I am seriously impressed by this microphone.To be hones i was not expecting much from it, I was looking for an upgrade for the usual headset microphone and this is doing better than expected.The original quality is decent but after putting it into some equaliser it gets even better. I have a friend with a very high end microphone and he even was impressed by it.The build quality is really good, all metal apart from the nob.It comes with a heandy tripod.It is very easy to use, just plug and play for both PC and PS4.For this price you can't ask for anything better for this price range.

I actually bought this as a temporary mic as my previous one broke, and this was pretty much the cheapest half decent looking one I could find. The actual mic itself is superb quality- I was expecting it to be very lightweight however it has a great weight to it. The quality is absolutely spot on as well- I've paid a lot more for less quality in the past! If you're after a starter mic for streaming/ vlogging- this is a fantastic option. Really good value all in I'd definitely recommend

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this is a £30 mic compared to mics that are so much more expensive. Take it from me, I check out all sorts of equipment for my two YouTube channels. I am not disappointed with this one, it works on twitch and worth my webcamers as working fine on my computer for zoom calls. The sound is clear, yet doesn’t pick to too much interference from what’s going on out side the recording room.

I bought this to improve the sound of my voice on conference calls compared to the built in microphone on my webcam (Logitech C270). Overall it is noticeably better than my laptop's built in mic and there is less echo/background noise than the webcam but not a huge step up in the way my voice sounds.To test, I recorded several samples of my voice and listened to the recordings using decent headphones and also my desktop monitors. The most obvious characteristic is a more natural sound and it no longer sounded like I was trapped in a metallic box. I would have like more low frequencies and felt it still robbed my voice of some weight and warmth but it was easily the equal of the webcam and much better than the laptop so for the price I was not disappointed. There is an advantage of this however in that the clarity of my voice was very good so if you have a laptop mic that sounds boomy it may help. The levels of background noise were reduced on this mic compared to the webcam which was generally more (annoyingly) sensitive. It did still pick up conversations outside of the room through a door at audible levels.Other good points: worked first time no hassle, the gain control on the front can be handy to optimise sound level quickly rather than software control but for my basic uses many apps have auto mic level so I ended up leaving it at about 3 o clock. As others have said it feels very sturdy (i.e. heavy) but I cannot comment on longevity.

Bought this microphone a month ago and have used it daily since then for work-related Teams/Skype calls. The mic works well - mainly if it's on the desk 30-45cm away and pointing directly at me. It still picks up my voice at a distance of 1.5m but obviously it's a bit fainter.I've had the volume turned up to max throughout the use - you can turn it all the way down to mute your voice but this is a bit of a faff and you give your audience a brief blast of feedback when you move the volume back up to come off mute, so I just use the mute function on Teams/Skype instead.Slight improvement would be an off/on function, but not the end of the world.All in all, a good product that does exactly what I need it to and stops me having to wear a headset all day.

Does the job well with good sound and simple connection to old style USB connectors on my Mac. No drivers or anything needed, just plug and play, default settings automatically adjusted. Purchased this due to having to do online presentations and the sound quality received by listeners was much improved. Works well and at a reasonable cost, can recommend for web use.

I didn't expect this quality for the money I spent . It's one of the best gift my daughter received this Christmas so far. Standing to what she said 😊She is now using it on her gaming setup.I've tested it my self and I was surprised by the audio quality. It works on both windows and Mac. My daughter just plugged it into her laptop and it started working.The only thing I would improve is the tripod stand.
