Looks identical to OEM. You cannot tell the difference. Plus, if you're looking to replace your old Fob because it's missing the BMW logo, this works perfect.

Works perfect for my 2012 328i Convertible FOBs. I went ahead and did both the main and spare FOB just in case. Total cost with FOB case and battery was $25 per FOB. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes per FOB to take old one apart, un-solder the old battery, solder in the replacement battery, and fit the board into new FOB case. I did verify that the buttons worked before sealing up the case so I didn't have to break it open once sealed, I would suggest you do the same.I would recommend this to anyone who knows how to un-solder and solder. Otherwise this might be a more difficult task.

I just needed the battery cover since I lost it somehow while trying to change the battery sitting in my car. Yeah, do it at home. That cover tends to go flying. Anyway, Perfect fit. The key fob is pretty much identical to the original as you can see from the photos (right is original key). The second photo shows the new key stacked on top of the old one. They are the same measurements so there is no reason why it wouldn't work in the ignition if you wanted to put it in there. People complaining about the size being different probably accidentally ordered the wrong model for their car.

Standard name brand battery does not sit firmly in the case. The battery will lose contact with the terminals and fail to function. I put a rubber washer on top of the battery and it works…most of the time. Dang, same issue as the one I replaced. The old one finally cracked because I opened it so many times to service this issue. 2013 f30 bought used and came with two of these fobs. I’ve owned the vehicle 2.5 years now. I’ve learned how to deal with it, but I cannot recommend because of this issue. You will eventually get locked out or stranded or whatever. Purchase at your own risk. Good luck!

Great price and easy to assemble, prefect fitment, plus it looks just like the original key fob. The hardest part is carefully splitting the old case in half.

The key slides into the key slot and starts the car but it pops out like it dosnt want to stay in the key slot after car stays on but just annoying

This fits your original cut key and circuit board - assuming you order the case that matches your original fob. Don’t expect the BWM logo or color filled panic key.Disappointed to find apparently this case had been previously used. Clear evidence of pry marks on the case where someone worked to open it. Should tell the buyer it was previously used/returned.

Great product, all I can say is that it's on a great price and quality it's just greatI've purchased this item 3 times, one back in early 2022 for my son's car, all great, then in July 2022 for my wife's car and then in Jan 2023 for me. I must say that the quality in the last one I got is sadly not the same the logo is printed in an awful color totally disappointed ☹️ on this last purchase.

So I bought the right one

Ordered these twice, first time they were damaged during postage & returned to Amazon by the post service, I was issued a full refund, I reordered them, I received them in a timely manner (NSW Australia), they do seem to be of good quality, I’ve mistaken this for my genuine spare 3 times now that’s how close it is to looking genuine (see attached photos) this case on the left old main key in the middle, & genuine spare on the right, absolutely huge improvement the main key. Fitment seems fine both for the board & the ignition (07 BMW 335i e92) over all I’m incredibly pleased, I hated pulling out my key & seeing how trashy it looked, excellent way to get a brand new key feeling without having to spend a fortune on a brand new fob when it’s not needed. Hope this helps anyone on the fence like I was about who to buy them from & what price range to buy at, I was originally planning to grab a couple from a few different vendors & pick the best but over all I’m very pleased with this & unless it doesn’t hold up for some reason I will probably just stick with this one.
