I am SO annoyed I received this product with NO cover! How sanitary can this product possibly be after being in countless warehouses prior to arriving at my door? Very disappointed to put it mildly. Now on to the product review! PROS: Color match is excellent for my pink undertone, uber pale skin. I have previously been using ELF Flawless Finish and their Acne foundation, this is a much lighter color that leaves no jawline ring when I am too lazy to blend as far and as well as I should. No smell! It has the slightest scent of Olay, but nothing crazy. Buildable without caking. I have skin damage on one cheek and always need to double coverage in that spot, the redness seeps through everything. I can easily dab on a second layer and it does not pull off or cake up. Natural finish: I find this to be a softer finish than the ELF Flawless Finish. While it gives me great coverage, it is a muted evened out coverage that looks MUCH more natural than the ELF FF. I can wear only this foundation and look fine, no powder, blush, or anything for a "Oh hey you look great" weekend look. Wrinkles: Yeah, it settles into my lines. And so does my previous ELF foundations! This foundation however settles FAR less than what I was using. I am guilty of crumpling my face, laughing, and actually moving my skin during the day so not only do I have lines, they move! The horrors of being old! Honestly, I am really impressed with how this wears on my skin! OVERALL: I am really glad I tried this foundation--BUT from now on I will repurchase in a store so I can have a cover for my product. Not having a cover is just disgusting so I will avoid rebuying via Amazon again for this reason. But I WILL definitely continue to wear this foundation because it does everything is claims to--and it is now CRUELTY FREE! I honestly think this may be my Holy Grail Foundation!!!!! FYI: I wear this with and without ELF Poreless Primer, I see no real difference between with and without primer at this point. It does not cling to dry skin like the ELF FF. Yes, some days I have serious dry skin due to my new retinol regimen so I know how awful foundation can look over flaky skin--and this one definitely is more moisturizing without being oily. I have very oily skin, large pores, and battle both wrinkles and acne :) I do not set with a powder, and I find that blush sticks to this foundation quite well without fading away after a few hours.

The one thing I've found that's never worth cutting corners on is foundation. As my skin matures, that fact becomes more evident. A good foundation makes almost anything else I put on my face look good as long as there's a little skill behind its application. CoverGirl is a brand I've used for decades (many decades!), and the products have always been reliable and consistent. This product provides just the right amount of coverage to look perfectly natural, and it goes on effortlessly, whether you're using fingertips or a makeup sponge. There are so many shades to match nearly any skin tone and if you happen to have dry skin, this won't leave your skin feeling dry and tight like so many foundations can. It also lasts all day without settling into fine lines or creases at the corners of your eyes (a must for maturing skin)

This will probably be my new go-to foundation. I've got a terribly complicated skin situation, so let me explain my makeup needs. To start, on top of everything else, I'm a very pale person. I struggle to find color matches. I've got combo-ish skin, and by that, I mean I've got literally everything at once. My skin isn't the most oily ever, typical T-zone stuff, however I live in a climate with 0% humidity so I've also got dry skin. But if I treat my skin like it's "dry", I get super oily, so I've found a balance that keeps my skin relatively in the neutral zone. That's where foundations come in. Because every foundation I've tried for "normal/combo" skin? I look like a lizard. And yes, I exfoliate and all that good stuff, doesn't help the scaley situation. I've had yet to find a foundation that doesn't cling to me in some horrible way. I started looking for a foundation that wasn't matte, but wasn't overly dewy either. Enter CoverGirl! I've tried another CoverGirl foundation before, and I knew that their Ivory shade in that one suited me pretty well. Thankfully their shades seem similar across their foundations because that's something I've experienced issues with too (Lookin' at you, Maybelline). When I was looking into this foundation, I noticed that it had a natural look, not too matte or dewy, and it has added skin benefits. Plus, it's so much cheaper on Amazon than in the store! I actually checked to make sure I wasn't looking at it wrong, because normally this foundation is way more expensive. So glad I decided to try it! Every time I wear this foundation, not only does it actually stay of my face (doesn't break apart, minimal fading) but it doesn't cling and make me look scaley either! And it's worth noting that when I wear foundation, it's usually in a 12+ hour capacity, I don't usually do touch-ups, I don't bring powder everywhere, I'm just too lazy for that. When I say this foundation lasts and has minimal fading, it's over a really long amount of time. The other glorious thing? Whenever I wear this foundation, my skin actually gets smoother and softer! I've noticed the more I wear it, the better my skin looks without makeup at all! It was super surprising, I didn't expect to notice any kind of effect on my face (I'm in my early 20's, and my skin might not be super great, but it's not horrid either, and frankly I kinda thought the Olay thing was just a gimmick). So far, this product has answered all of my woes, and I couldn't be happier!

I am a fair low-chroma, cool-leaning neutral with beige as the most dominant undertone in my skin. I can't tell you how many years of BAD foundation it took me to figure that out. 205 is a fair-light neutral shade. It skews true beige, being neither yellow, peach, nor pink. I know this because I applied it to my lower face and neck under direct sunlight, and I could hardly tell where the foundation ended and my natural skin began. Hours later it still hadn't turned yellow, peach, or pink on me. I've heard that the OG drugstore brands (like Covergirl) use an older method of color mixing that works better for neutrals. So this CG is a winner for me as far as undertone and depth. It's great to have a reliable foundation option that's sold everywhere. However, it falls shy of five stars: The coverage is light to medium at best. Though it has an elegant, almost "whipped" feel when pumped out of the bottle, it looks diffused when applied to skin. It evens out complexion, but doesn't cover flaws very well. It's also fragranced, and I'm not sure who in 2026 still wants scent in their makeup. It does fade relatively quickly. But it's a foundation that stops short of delivering everything.

I have used this makeup for years. It is so easy to apply and feels light with good coverage.

I’ll start this review with what I like about the formula. It’s silky, applies easily, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. The shades are fairly easy to match, no super pink or orangey undertones. Some things I don’t like. The foundation dries very quickly so you cannot take your time with blending or applying. It’s not good coverage. Extremely light coverage, more like what you’d expect from a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. This is a bit annoying for me because I have patches of redness I wish this would cover, and it doesn’t even come close. It also transfers off the face very easily. It’s not what I’d call moisturizing, I have to apply a moisturizer before I wear it or it dries my skin out. It’s not the worst foundation I’ve ever used, but I don’t believe it’s good for problem/dry skin. I won’t buy it again.

I use this as a treatment and pre foundation cream and the powder. When this line of products came out I really dove into researching it as it provides 3 in one foundation! It is sheer. I use this and another brand over it to get the treatment, and coverage I need. It is more sheer but but some days it is all I need or have time for. I do subscibe to getting it regularly and I have always have some on hand! The colors are beautiful, I tried several before I settled on one. I am so pleased with this whole line. I use the primer after moisturinzing, and I also use the powder that helps to blur fine lines. I have had many compliment: one was my skin is impecable! And believe me it is not without this line! I have others say: Wow! Your skin looks perfect or flawless! No one said your make up looks good or great it was always my skin. It looks so natural you just can not tell! Find your color and use my neck to match. I highly recommend this and the rest of the line. I love it! I think you will too!

Decent coverage. I apply lightly or I can feel it on my skin. I apply a light serum to my skin first helps it to feel less thick on my skin.

perfect for middle age and over women

I ordered this foundation after watching Robert Welsh, a pro MUA on FB saying how much he really liked this foundation and I trust his honesty. I only needed a small amount for decent coverage and I was very pleased with the results on my 54 year old skin. It didn’t settle into any lines and I didn’t feel the need for concealer. Very happy!

Lo primero que noté es que huele super rico, además tiene buena cobertura y con poco producto lo puedes extender bastante, o sea rinde muy bien, es la primera vez que compro este maquillaje y me encantó
