Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Cherry Me, 0.15 oz.

I'm not generally into any lip color or care but I adore this gloss. It's everything I needed in one product: something for an occasional, subtle splash of color and something to improve the look and moisture of my lips without the thick, sticky feeling of normal chapstick. This gloss does both jobs perfectly. The color of this looks dramatic in the package but when applied it's just the right amount of tint and shine. It's much more sheer than it looks to be but it still adds noticeable oomph that enhances your natural lip color. It also adds a nice sheen that isn't overly shiny but again, very noticeable. It actually does moisturize as well. I can immediately feel and see the texture of my lips improve but it's more than a fleeting change. My lips stay moisturized and look smoother long after it wears off. I hate how most chapstick and glosses feel on my lips but this one glides on like silk and it never feels sticky. It does take some reapplying if you want to keep the color for hours but my guess is that anything they could do to make it longer lasting would affect the lightweight, silky smooth consistency it currently is and I much prefer that. My only real complaint is that the cap doesn't close super securely. It slides off pretty easily, especially during travel. I wish it would lock in place better so I didn't need to worry about it opening in my bag.

Beautiful bright red color and in a chapstick! Just what i was looking for!!! Its great for winter and chapped lips as well! Im definitely hooked. This has become my new staple chapstick/lipstick. I did not receive this for a discount, I paid FULL AMAZON PRICE but it was so great I gave my honest opinion. Before I write a review i usually let the item sit out on the table until I’m ready to “take it for a test drive” Then I run it through a rigorous set of tests ;) Does it look good? feel? How does it compare with...? Can I do anything else with it? Does it do what it says it does? Would I change anything? Anything else I’d like to see as an additional feature… And then…. I sit down and write my review. It usually takes me 2+ hours to write--get it on the screen, organized, edited, cut read, re-read, re-edited…you get it...before its ready to be posted. So, if you are reading this review some thought has been put into it. I love this stuff! My Sugar brand lip balm was getting low, I looked online to order it, and saw it was now $25 and I thought “ah heck no, not for lip balm!” So I did a quick search on best rated on amazon, saw this, and ordered two in the Cherry Me color. What do you have to lose at under $3 each, right? The answer is absolutely nothing to lose. And then they came and I tried it...and was blown away at the quality of the product for the price. It is soft, feels luxurious and moistening, and the color was fabulous. Enough color to provide clear definition to lips with a smidge or shine, but not looking super heavy or glossy or obvious....your lips, but better. I will never ever again buy another lip balm as long as this is available. It’s awesome.

I've tried these in Cherry Me and Grape Vine. I do like the product, but I wish the company didn't make claims like "After 1 week, lips are visibly renewed, virtually reborn" and "Protects and moisturizes for a full 8 hours," because they don't seem to be true. I like Baby Lips as just a basic tinted lip balm, but it is no miracle product. If Maybelline weren't claiming minor miracles to come, I'd give Baby Lips five stars. It reminds me a lot of my good old buddy, Dr. Pepper flavor Lip Smackers. That was the best one for me, since it actually gave my lips a slight tint, unlike the other Lip Smackers. Cherry Me is almost identical on my lips. Just a slight wash of red that makes my weird, pale purply lips look more alive. The balm is hard, but glides on easily. Harder than Lip Smackers. I like this feature because it means the tube won't be empty in a week. You can apply just a touch for a little moisturizing, or layer it on for more of the red tint. Grape Vine is similar, but purple! I have extremely cool skin tone, and the purple works on me. Definitely isn't too dark or overpowering, and is also very easy to control the amount of tint you'd like on your lips. They feel nice on. Not sticky or heavy, just moisturizing. I rub my lips together a lot, and the color is gone before an hour's up, but my lips still feel moisturized for a little while after the color is gone. Definitely not the eight hours that Maybelline claims though. Overall, it's a great product at a good price that I will probably continue to buy for my "I don't feel like lipstick" days or a more natural look. I just wish that companies wouldn't make claims that don't stand up in the field!

I am currently on my second round of isotretinoin, so I've learned all about caring for super, super dry lips. Eos had just come out when I started the medication the first time, and I quickly got hooked. Chapstick now seems like wax in comparison. I looked online for some different eos flavors this time around and came across Baby Lips. Though I don't care for the name, these lip balms get very good reviews and I liked that they come in different colors, so I decided to try some. I chose Cherry Me. Though the graphic looks red-red on my screens, the color is actually more of a dark pink-red in person. It is quite pretty. This balm goes on a lot more wet than eos to me. Thinner. It seems to last about the same amount of time before reapplication is needed, though more comes off from eating/drinking than eos. I don't notice any sort of difference in my lips after using it for a while, but despite the claims I really didn't expect such. I personally like the feel of eos better than Baby Lips on my lips, but I really like having the color options. Thus to me they are about the same; I use eos generally and Baby Lips for work and other instances where I'd like some color.

A lot of lip balms with color sting my lips but I love this product in Cherry. It adds a nice bit of color - enough I can go without other lipstick if I want - but it doesn't look overly red. I've also used it over lipstick and it doesn't overpower it. It has a cherry smell but no taste - and no bad taste to it either like some lip products. If you like neutral colors or browns on your lips you may not like this color cause it will tint your lips. I was afraid it was going to come out super red cause it looks dark in the container - but the color is more red/pink and not heavy. The only thing I'd change is the name cause it looks like something only a tween would want to carry around - and I'm way older than that! But the product is so good I'd buy it again.

I purchased the Cherry Me lip balm through Amazon and then the next day found the Oh Orange (only the Oh Orange) at a local discount grocery store. The Cherry Me has a sweet cherry scent and taste and goes on a bit redder than I was used to from most tinted lip balms. The Oh Orange has you guessed it a sweet orange scent and taste and went on with a sheer shimmery tint that I have found to be perfect for summer and is subtle but without being completely sheer and invisible. The scents (and tastes) are nice and aren't at all like those awful cheap ones that you find at dollar stores that are typically marketed at tweens and young girls. I do feel like I have to apply them more often than my regular untinted moisturizing only lip balms but they do seem to have more staying power and moisturizing power than most tinted lip treatments like colored lip gloss. The twist up tube with a plastic sheath is nice, I prefer it to the those squeeze tubes that some brands use or the tubes with the wand applicators. Overall I would say that if you are only wanting a moisturizing lip balm with no tint and maybe a nice taste as a bonus there are better options out there but if you are wanting a bit of color and shimmer (with the scent and taste as a bonus) but without your lips drying out or becoming a sticky mess these are a great option. I plan on picking up some of the other colors or collection of colors in the future.

Compré el combito que ven en la foto (por separado) ya que no me gusta usar el tarrito en la calle. En la foto estoy usando ambos; se supone que el tarrito deja tus labios rosas, pero casi no se nota, todo el color es del bálsamo en barra. El color es precioso, no dura mucho por ser bálsamo pero la humectación sí perdura. Además huele riquísimo a cereza, como paleta De La Rosa 😅

This is by far my favourite lip balm, it feels nice on, it's subtle and has a nice scent. I'm worried that it's getting discontinued as it's not available in the shops. This is the only place I can get it from now. Always in perfect condition and quick delivery.

I really love this lip balm. So hard to get hold of it these days. It's smooth, slightly glossy and has this slight flavour of cherry, which is very nice, but not overpowering like some other brands. It also gives your lips this slight bit of colour. Can thoroughly recommend.
